As a mother of triplets I see first hand how emotionally attached and dependent my kids are on one another. They cannot imagine losing each other and just the thought of it makes them cry and they adults now. These poor men were separated at 5 months of age. They already had a strong bond going back to conception! Of course they had psychological issues develop! You took away part of who each of them are.

I am also an identical twin, but my twin sister was stillborn. That bond you speak of is real, as I felt her presence at a very young age. I was 4 yrs old when I asked my mother about "a missing sibling." She sat me down and explained to me in terms I understood. To this day, I miss my twin sister even though she never lived with me, but I believe she watches over me.

I am the grandmother of twin girls and these too darling little girls will play and talk to other people but after about 5 minutes they start freaking out. They begin to become nervous and start calling for the other one!!!! What those people did to those 3 sweet little boys was more than a sin!!!!! Those 3 boys were "wired" together.. as ONE... NOT three separate entities! This is a very sad story to me. I'm not saying that each one didn't have his own personality, I"m saying that their souls were connected in a profound way!!!

+garrett21 I just watched the full documentary. The triplets tried to sue but the adoption agency and others involved were so well connected that they couldn't find a law firm who would go up against them. The US government and some anonymous "foundation" financed this study. One of the researchers, who moved to EU in the 60s, was interviewed in the film. Photos of her with the Obamas, among other influential people, decorated her walls. This thing reaches high up and some people are above the law. That's not a conspiracy theory; it is fact. The records of this study are sealed until 2066.

It is not JUST about being separated. It is about purposefully placing mentally sick kids in environments that were bad for them...for research purposes...result? Suicide....The researches were well aware of this result when they placed yet more kids in the same scanarios. And of course, they never told the parents about the kid's problems or how to deal with it, because that would just negate the purpose of the study....That's far more evil that just separating them...
@KLmoxie
@KLmoxie 8 ай бұрын
They were NOT mentally sick. The boys developed separation anxiety. Children/Babies remember things from 3-6 months onwards and even if their memory doesn’t hold, their body remembers the separation and trauma. They were also adopted so not “fitting in” with your family and feeling like you don’t belong is extremely detrimental to growth and healthy development during formative years.

There should be a way to open those records, especially to the two remaining triplets who were part of the study. Contracts and agreements to secrecy have been overturned before. At one time adoption records were completely sealed and now most are open. The triplets and others who were studied were never able to give their consent to the studies or the results, yet they are bound by the hold on the records. When a law or contract involves people who could not consent to it, it is legally considered invalid. All of the children in Neubauer’s study should have access to the records

Yes and no. Correct me if i'm wrong but the while point of this study is to measure mental health. They purposely got twins or triplets who came from a parent who had mental health conditions. then the twins and triplets would be separated and given different parenting styles. Then the evaluation of the mental health of the twins or triplets would prove if it really is nature (mental health passed down through parent) or nuture or whatever. Of course this is an oversimplification but even the documentary showed that the fact eddie killed himself and had the worst style of parenting sorta goes into the direction of nurture. The study most likely did not consider the further mental health implications they gave to the kids after separating them.

If they would lie about that, it is possible the state would lie about the twin boys. If you can get enough info to search for birth/death certificates, I would do so, just for your peace of mind. The three brothers were born to a single mother in 1961. (They were actually quadruplets; the fourth brother died at birth.) At the direction of a Jewish adoption agency and psychiatrists Viola W. Bernard and Peter B. Neubauer, the three infants were intentionally placed with families of different economic levels - one blue-collar, one middle-class, and one upper-class - who had each adopted a baby girl from the same agency two years earlier. The brothers were raised by their respective adoptive families as David Kellman, Eddy Galland, and Bobby Shafran.They discovered one another by chance in 1980 and became very close, but all three struggled with depression throughout their lives, which ultimately led to Galland's suicide in 1995

I am very suspicious, I don't think such things ended with the Nazis. There will always be horrible people, psychos no matter doctors or whatever they call themselves.

@Vincent Cuttolo so you say. And it's not crazy, it's a possibility. Don't be naive, they did a lot of similar things in the 3rd Reich in Germany, and given they had the knowledge of science today, they would have jumped to such a thing without any hesitation

Yeah, kind of embarrassing for the guys being interviewed, but I know that just off-camera she has a Producer flashing her the hand-across-the-throat signal - CUT, CUT, CUT! Everything is timed to the second and if it's time for a commercial, the commercial tape will start playing while everyone continues talking if the host isn't keeping control of the interview. She should have been doing more to guide the interview in the direction she needed it to go rather than to let things get out of control and then rather rudely just shut them up!

Joan Elizabeth Smith , I agree. In the documentary the two research assistants also were Jewish. But they behaved so cold hearted as though they had no emotional connection or empathy to these multiple kids -as though the kids weren’t people but a study project. I don’t understand how they were so emotionally disconnected while they were studying emotional disconnection !

tomjan you really think poor jews barely able to afford their religious required private school education and weekend thanksgivings have the ability to do more than barley make enough to support their ever growing families due to not being allowed to use birth control or their childs tuition being their birth control. Im not excusing that specific organization. But the logical mind based in reality cant fabricate an idea as such about a few poor families. Its like thinking all muslims are weathy due to a few wealthy Imams. Its absurd.

My mother had 2 sets of twins with 2 different guys and my sister also had twins with 2 different guys.(actually 2 different Husbands)Hey statisticians out there what are the odds of that happening? I am a twin and my twin bother died in 1982 of Melanoma ,he was 38 years of age. Just to add a little twist to the story i am not completely sure that my supposed dad is actually my Dad. I have agonized over some of this stuff for years There is the possibility that my older sister also had a different father. talking of entanglements. I do welcome feed back. I suffer from acute anxiety at times, so to put this stuff down on paper is many times very difficult. Please forgive the many grammatical errors.
