Over time, Sam Smith, the writer who claimed Jordan said it, has become more and more vague about the provenance of the quote. Finished the documentary Last Dance and no doubt I still believe Michael Jordan is the best. I know some believe it puts him in a "bad light" but it shows the blood, sweat and tears he put into the game and the people around him. He worked hard and was put through so much and came out the other side a winner. He made the game great to watch and it's because of him that basketball is the only game I can watch without losing interest or get bored. He is a living legend!

Before the documentary I thought he was a living legend. After watching 8 episodes of the documentary, my level for MJ has gone up about a thousand percent. Everyone knows MJ is the best. But what it took to get there - that's what makes MJ great. Talk about grabbing a bull by the horns! A true leader and champion. These kinds of guys come very rarely.

He said yet but, even if Steph retired today he'd be in the Hall of Fame. Michael meant when it's all said and done. I mean Steph is just 31 and he still is in his prime. Plus Michael also thinks there's even more that he can achieve because he called him a great player which is high respect for someone's game. This is being taken out of context. There's nothing savage about this comment.

@@milesaheadpodcast thanks for that dissertation. I'm positively sure that's what he meant. Just pointing out the fact that even being so many years removed from the game MJ still talks like he ready to compete. That is all.

Stephen curry is my favorite player but that was funny... And if Mike doesn't think you're hall of famer, you still got more work to do. But trust me SC is gonna be there right next to Mike one day
