I saw every episode of the original Jetsons. They never said it took place in 2062 or any other specific year. As far as I'm concerned it takes place in 3000 like Futurama does. I don't know where they're getting the theory it takes place in 2062.

Well with all the live action adoptions of cartoons lately where they remove alot of the familiar stuff (like "fate: the winx suga") and making it dark and edgy, I doubt that it's a good idea...

There's no way that george jetson can be born on 2022, that will take a billion years to get him to be born in the future, I mean 2022 looks fine as is back then there's still trees, water, grass, ground, and even mobile homes too. Events of 2022 would be flashback added details : Covid-19 pandemic, war in Ukraine, the baby formula shortage, climate crisis, inflation. These are all world issues George’s Parents and new parents of 2022 are of concern. I can invision John Mulaney as George, Hilary Duff as Jane, McKenna Grace as Judy, and Danny DeVito as Mr. Spacely.. Brenda Vaccaro can reprise her role as DiDi Judy’s digital diary.
