I love Alaska, and appreciate their proactive approach to the issue. Still one of the safest airlines in the skies.

@@leigh4326 Did you not read what I wrote? Alaska KNEW there were warning lights at the time. They even made it not go on water and only land. This means they had some idea there was something wrong with the plane. They failed to include maintenance.

Maybe stop diversity hires in management positions on production lines and hire qualified engineers with experience?

Most times I think that Boeing should make a 2 engine version of the boeing 727s with perhaps some large rolls royce engines. We had engough of the 737 Maxs and their negative reputations.

Alaska outsources at least 49%….thats pretty high to bet your life on. Look for airlines down in the 20% or lower. It’s your life….why get on planes where a CEO goes on TV to nonchalantly apologize for your death….when perhaps you could have chosen a wiser option.
@tuanpham-vv3qj6 ай бұрын
The CEO of Alaska Airlines should not only be angry of Boeing because of the defective plane but also angry of his maintenance crew and the Pilots who cannot fix the pressure sensor issues (problem solving skill ) and not communicate the issues to Boeing!!!! Weak in communication and Problem Solving Skill will hurt Alaska Airlines dearly! You have to improve yourself before finger- pointing to the other.

Pay the ppl more then, make ppl happy to work for the company and care. Someone might lose their job and go get another one for lack of caring, but y'all are going to lose this whole company for the same reason. Can't wash your hands with one hand.

Yes, he should be mad at the fact that his airline decided to allow this plane to fly two months with pressure issues, even if the regulators allowed it,and know he's saying something!

Airlines can’t second guess every regulation. They did at least not allow the plane to do over water flights, which was not required by regulations.
