Holiday tipping guide 2024: Who to tip and how much

Regarding the hair stylist, I'm not understanding. Is it saying in addition to the regular tip I give, I should also tip an amount that would be the cost of a haircut - over $100?? This is how I'm interpreting this- is this correct?

My older sister in L.A. has the same hairstylist all year long. Of course she tips after each visit throughout the year, but during the holidays she gives her an extra cash “Holiday tip”.
