Yeah, shame on me for not once leaving a comment like this in the last two weeks or so. I found the channel recently and am quite a happy subscriber. Usually well researched and often curious, but without the clickbaity 'thing you didn't know/couldn't imagine' title. I like it very much.

Today I Found Out It's always easier (and to some people, more 'fun') to point out the bad. Well entertained people are like... people who had a really nice dinner. They're at least a bit in a happy place on their very own and it seems to be harder in that situation to remember or find the motivation to say something thoughtfully nice to the person who provided the entertainment. With KZbin, most people don't stay until that absolutely tiny high is over, but are long gone by then. Not to mention the fact that there's no social pressure to say thanks from a lack of a person they're facing. But you can trust that the likes you receive are only a fraction of how many people could have given a thumb up for having been well entertained, while the dislikes are quite accurately depicting how many viewers didn't like the video or the channel or the presenter. ;-)

I had Sea Monkey kits a couple times when I was younger. I knew that they weren't going to look like the creatures in the ad, but I was still disappointed with them. My biggest complaint was that they never grew big enough to actually really see them. One of the kits included a small tank with magnifier bubbles molded into the sides and using them, I could just barely make them out. Otherwise they just looked like specs of dust floating around in the water. They also never lived very long even though I followed the directions exactly. I once saw actual brine shrink in a pet shop(?) and while still tiny by objective standards, they were several times larger than any of the "Sea Monkeys" I ever had.
