I love that the family comes to help with the house. Memories literally from the ground up in the house. I always wondered what that type of heating looked like, so cool! Careful Joel, buckets is going to get jealous the way you're talking about that stapler 😂

Good job! My husband is a General Contractor and this is hard work! Impressive work by that construction crew, Joel and Landon!

We’ve got radiant heat all throughout our house and we love it! I especially love that each room has its own thermostat and since you’re not blowing air our house feels less dry in the winter. Highly recommend!

We just moved to South Korea and the floors are heated...LOVE IT!

Great video - I'm a bit older than you, but this reminds me of "This old house" but with a new twist! We watched our house being built and your attention to detail makes me very jealous that we didn't have an option for Hoellein Construction to build our home!

This is so cool to see. Landon helping Joel, get the work done. I love when you see family helping family. Is the house going to be 2 levels?

Love that you showed the entire process. So cool. Now I’m going to ask maybe an obvious question. What happens if it fails? Or maybe what is the chance it will?
@TodaysTask2 жыл бұрын
It is not very Likely that it will fail, but if one occurs they have to chip out the concrete around the break and repair it.
@jaymeel40612 жыл бұрын
That was nice of Landon to come help you, sorry if this is a dumb question but, wouldn’t stapling down the tubing poke through the plastic barrier? Looks amazing! Cant wait to see the final project complete!
@TodaysTask2 жыл бұрын
Good thinking. The solid foam insulation is 2 inches thick and the staples are 1 1/2 inches long. When the staples go over the tubing they staples will only go in the foam 1 inch.

Did you worry about puncturing the tubing after it was pressure tested and while they were pouring?
@TodaysTask2 жыл бұрын
Yes, which is why we will keep pressure in the system the entire time we are building.

Are you doing radiant heat on your main floor? If so, I can’t wait to see how that is done since you won’t be pouring concrete over it.
