Thanks for the abbreviated version up front. I got the height at 2" and using a pipe tool. That's all I needed!

Great video! You told the details I really needed to know to do this. How you measured everything was what I was looking for.

OMGOSH! I just stumbled upon your video somehow and I really appreciate the information and visual demonstration you gave. It really helped me a lot but I have to say the very best part of this video is when Bonnie realized she interrupted your clip and oh my goodness I laughed so hard at her laughing so hard! Let me also just say if I had my eyes closed and I did not know what was going on I would swear to you that woman was a witch laughing - if course, I mean no disrespect. 😂 🧙🏻♀️

Hey. Great video. Would love to see how you built this closet system with the different hanging heights and the shelving cubbies. Curious what materials you used and how you secured the middle shelving. Thanks!

Do you have a video about making the closet built ins? We are moving into a new build that has a large master walk in closet but has no built in shelves and I don’t like the super long closet rod they will be putting in. I don’t know if we should just go with an ikea closet system or try to do it ourselves.

I completely agree about putting in your own shelving. It is not to hard of a task, but a few tips would be to use a stud finder, and don't be scared to redo a shelf. I have not made a video about building out shelves yet....

I have an old plastic shelf with a metal rod for the hanging of clothes. Yrs ago it came out and somehow I got it back in, both holes are round. Well my son leaned on it on something and down it came. I cant get the metal rod to go back into the holes, sure one at a time but both holes are round and there's no slip one in and the other one is only half so slip it down. What can I do pls? Any suggestions at all will be helpful, tysm!
@FastingStarChanelNo52 жыл бұрын
Hi, I worked it out. I recalled putting the metal rod in at sort of a diagonal angle under the shelf, then inserting the rod in the left hole and voila, it went into the right side easily. Ah the benefits of a good memory lol, and now I have more closet space in my tiny apt. Thx again for the video and any help you may have planned to give :).

Another question. Are those 1x3 boards you're drilling into? I think I need to add those to my rv closet wall before installing rod. RV's have pretty much hollow walls. I'm actually scared to try this. I dont want to ruin my rv even though it is 15 yrs. old.
@TodaysTask3 жыл бұрын
I would add some sort of backing, but I would use glue to adhere the boards.
