Federally, if your convicted , you will do 80% of your sentence. They both conspired to commit the crimes, were legally convicted and sentenced. It is now a “ real reality “ in their life.

I'm kinda curious about the details, what actual scams did they pull, who did they actually steal from,was it mostly tax evasion, etc... That doesn’t t make this or sentences ridiculous. It means they got what they should’ve, probably even less. I’m tired of murderers getting plea deals for light sentences. THAT is mostly a function of District Attorneys, who we all vote for, who are moser concerned about numbers, as in guilty verdicts. They get a lot of guilty verdicts if they can plea them down instead of taking the time and doing the work to take them to trial, where they’ll get much higher sentences.

I don't know who did what when or why but I do know if you got 11 year sentence and a 7 year sentence in the federal system you'll serve 85% of the time with the last six months in a half way house. Do the math 85 percent of 11 years is 9 plus years including 6 months in the half way house. It's a long time.
