Amanda is literally one of the nicest survivors ever and one of my favorite players, but her niceness is ultimately what made her lose at ftc twice which is so sad

ultimately both juries wanted her to own up to being the power player over Todd/Parv cause I genuinely do believe she swayed decisions at camp, her bases were covered game wise besides the jury which ultimately gets most power players. Russel should've won but forgot the Jury side of the game.

I would also add that she was a little too concerned with other players thinking she's a dishonest person. We've seen her get confrontational over it, particularly with Pei Gee and Cirie.

She's one of my favorite players, too. She's obviously a people pleaser, which is an advantage in camp and gets her to the end. Outwit, Outplay, Outlast is the motto. Amanda was great in all of these respects. But she didn't take ownership of her outwit and outplay maneuvers, so it looked like all she did was outlast. The second time she should have corrected course as many returning players do. In a certain respect her getting a second chance was a waste of the spot.

Exactly! Folks forget she palyed Micro before the finale of China happened so didn't know Todd won. Back then the "nice" and "wholesome" players would win, Todd is the first villain to win by owning his villainess in final tribal. Amanda didn't know the game has shifted when she went up against Parv.

These are literally my favorite videos ever. I love how you edit them & post them. Please do every season possible!! Is all this content available on the DVDS & if so does that still continue with the newer ones? For better or worse I was a very early adapter of internet streaming so I’ve never bought any of the DVDs because the episodes were always available to buy on Amazon prime even in the pre Netflix days.

Thanks! Seasons 15, 17, 18, 19, and 21 have these raw confessionals. I suspect seasons 1 and 2 do too, I just need to locate them. All other seasons don't have them available to my knowledge as these come from the dvds.

I’m sure they’re cheap on eBay now so I’d be beyond down to start buying up some used old dvds for this bonus content, but don’t wanna get bummed out paying for one that only has stuff I’ve already seen you know? Even if / when I own all the dvds I’ll still always support your content, i LOVE the way you edit these together & how succinctly you are able to show how / why each finalist did the way they did just from voting confessionals! I also am loving your recaps & even though we rarely agree on stuff I love listening to you & Mary - was so bummed she wasn’t on the winners analysis one. Unpopular opinion, I don't think Amanda was nice at all. She never wanted to take accountability for her decisions. Her saying 'I didn't want to do this, but I had to stick with the alliance' is about as 'nice' as someone saying 'I didn't want to stab you and your friend to death, but I had to stick with my gang. You understand, right?'

I think that Todd was a great winner because of the confessionals. I liked Amanda a lot, she's one of my favorite players. But seeing this, makes me think he deserved the win. Courtney and Amanda pretty much apologized for their votes and didn't take any responsibility for their great moves.
