20:40 - Today on 'Whose Legs are Whiter'... A bald man from Ohio and a ginger from down under, team up to take on a white plastic lawn chair. Is four legs really better than two? Is it a fair fight or a washout? "I really thought I couldn't lose. I was made for this. I don't know who I am anymore. Is my whole existence a lie? Have I been a tan chair this whole time?" - White Chair -With love from the whitest white boy in WV.

Ryan if you tuck your elbows a bit more, you should feel more in your chest and a little less in your shoulder. Basically, instead of having your elbows flared out 90 degrees from your body, try bringing them in 15 degrees or so.

I feel like Westside methods are far more effective for a sport like arm wrestling. Pretty interesting to think about

Braddock Grundy just going off how hard they were straining to get the weight up. Besides, you can easily pull a muscle with that weight

Braddock Grundy 8:09. All momentum with thrusting his body back in a jerking manner. There’s just a better way of getting into position, is all I’m saying.

Odd being pretty much the same height as Todd but him weighting about 70lbs more than me but once you stand next to him you can really get the feel for how connected and solid his whole body is. its the difference between a poodle and a pitbull lol.

just a tip to use more chest and less shoulders Ryan, (todd is doing this right), pinch your shoulders back on the bench when setting up, also a lot safer for the rotator cuff.

Its always odd watching armwrestlers do pressing..dudes that are superhuman strong on pulling and waaay stronger than me, yet they struggle with pressing less weight than i use..its like id expect Toddzilla to be using 40-50kg dumbells for this at least
@dqreps5 жыл бұрын
That's what i was thinking. I used to press 120s for reps. I was thinking Todd would do about what you said. Of course I would get my ass kicked all over the place on the table as well. And think, Devon doesn't do any of this shit. I can't imagine how it wouldn't help his performance but he must have his reasons.
@davidaguirre54095 жыл бұрын
@Ronin , from what ive heard Devon's reason is age , lol. He says he has done it all and just eats donuts now 😂
@remymartin81855 жыл бұрын
Ya this is surprising to me too. I can press about double what they are... I'd get destroyed by them on a table though...
@johnkatsigiannis2995 жыл бұрын
I'd imagine Todd is much stronger when he's at competition weight, on cycle, and not having just been released from a hospital. But I'm also surprised lol.
@kingwillie2064 жыл бұрын
What this tells you is that sport specific exercises that mimic actual movements are much more effective and relevant. You get stronger at what you concentrate on, period.

@@gabrielc6252 hell he had to go to supers for a challenge. I like that match because there are both older Americans. I think a 240-pound Todd would give Bresnan a run for his $ if he could stop the hit.

Are those supposed to be stiff-legged or RDL's?..... where is Lachlan when you need him. 😄 Keep up the good work gentlemen, have lachlan look at these vids too, he can give lots of good pointers for these small strength training sessions. Form, execution, little differences in form and practice can make big differences over time.

Toddzilla reminds me of my oldest cousin who got killed 3 years ago when he moved to Florida, it really makes me depressed cause no1 will arm wrestler train with me at the moment and i know he would of been down to help me. for some odd reason i cannot find 1 person here to help me train i even offered them $20 a hour to just arm wrestler me, no1 ever shows up oO ?? my MC is huge alot bigger then me he's scared i will hurt his big arms, like he's a OG to like 43 years old and been to jail, ride's a motorcycle i don't get it. he's a bad ass dude like in a fight he would hurt me, i don't understand the fear people have about arm wrestling, hopefully i can convince my youngest cousin to train with me he's like 24 he's bigger then me now and taller and has big hands he would make a good arm wrestler, when he was like 8 he picked up my hammer curl bar had like 30lbs on it no joke kid's a beast. but he's not tuff like me. they grew up different ya feel me? i am 37 now when i grew up, i got in fist fight's with kids who were like 15 and 16 years old when i was 11 and 12. that was normal for me. that is how the older kids would gain my respect. fun times, it's a damn shame i didn't record any fight's growing up as a kid i could of showed u guys on KZbin now lol, i seen some crazy shit.

@MrChriz3335 жыл бұрын
Loïc Mercier D'Urso i did 60 KG in one arm for reps at the age of 19. I did use some steroids, lol but not much. 45 kg should not be a problem if you have been training for some years🙈

Loïc Mercier D'Urso i agree. I dont understand why armwrestlers dont train heavy chest/shoulder and tricep presses.. some of that press power will help them alot.. I agree, its strange see veterans strugling with 25-30 kilo each arm:S
