This is the type of music we had in the 70's. This is when I would expect you to say we were spoiled. The golden age of the singer/songwriter. One huge singer/songwriter that was as great as anyone else during that time was Carole King. You could react to every song on the Tapestry album. I Feel the Earth Move, You've Got a Friend, It's Too Late, You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman, etc. Pick one! Or Simon and Garfunkel...any song. Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Sound of Silence, The Boxer (my favorite), etc. So much great music then.
@sammyslam14 жыл бұрын
@ted ritola .....brutha you said a mouthful and there are even more genres that broke in the 70's than the ones you mentioned. Just think of all the great music that came from the Caribbean and Africa during the 70's.... The 80's are my favorite because it's the music of my youth, but the 70's was far greater... The musicianship, harmony, depth, orchestration, lead and background vocals, storylines, composition, arrangments, etc.... Very very high levels, even when you factor in the now hated disco music.....just think about the complexity of those huge 64 track arrangements, with real musicians playing off score sheets. The 70's are an unreal decade for music, matched only by the very underrated 20's in American music history...

He is known for his sophisticated and often unorthodox music, his occasionally lavish stage shows, and his later experiments with interactive entertainment. He also produced music videos and was an early adopter and promoter of various computer technologies, such as using the Internet as a means of music distribution in the late 1990s.[1". Swoowning.... Love this song. I love the 70s!!!! Just a note: He said they had a fling and he didn't suspect a thing. Until he saw the love in her eyes that she had for him.
