This is the best live performance I've seen of International Feel. Todd and his whole band were really on it, almost hard to believe it's live.

TBH much of the backing tracks are recordings from the original album. You cannot duplicate that live.

I was there for the 9/6/09 show and nearly shit my pants when he came out in the spacesuit. Coolest thing I had ever seen. This show was everything I had imagined and ever dreamt it would be. At one point I just closed my eyes and allowed "The Medley" to reverberate through my body, flashing back through all the times I'd put this disc on a turntable ... and imagined a show JUST. LIKE. THIS. The highlight of my 17 Todd shows, no doubt.

For more than 50+ years, through thick and thin, fame and indifference, Todd has NEVER failed to entertain. His shows are ALWAYS First Class, a treat to the ears and the eyes. Thank you Todd, for the decades of wonder you have bestowed upon us. We are truly blessed by your gifts.

Brilliant song to open with and incredible visual treat. Akron, the home of new wave legends Devo. Reminding me of Zappa's early fave guitar, Todd and guitarist both playing Gibson SG Cherrys and they look like 2 xTodds. Beautful colour montage on Todd's Gibson. So surreal to open a show with this.

Todd's guitar is a replica from The Fool that was originally Eric Clapton's guitar but later went to Todd, who sold the guitar at an auction for 150.000 dollar .The Fool was a Dutch art collective.
@dannymiles65033 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot, i didnt know about The Fool or that it was owned by Clapton. Made me think of the brilliant Gary Moore's Gibson Les Paul. FM founder Peter Green let Gary have his Les Paul, as Gary loved it, for only what he paid for it, like & 150 or so. Years later, that guitar graced some of Gary's most iconic solos, he got very sick and cancelled a tour. He was in huge debt and was forced to sell it to a leading guitar dealer/trader. Price i heard was 400-500k and shortly after he sold it to current owner Metallica's K. Hammett for $2mill. If only Gary had help to sell direct to him would be fair. I will not be surprised if you already know this story.

I feel like there is actually a real musical ART time machine? This video is from 2009 and my family just last night in Miami Beach at the Fillmore, Witnessed virtually the exact same show. All of his fan favorites on part 1 then after intermission they played a flawless recreation of side 1 of AWATS. I was searching for people uploading videos from last night and found only this? less than 5000 views?? I bet that will change soon?

Well i feel robbed. Saw him at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne, he'd blown out his voice the night before & he sounded awful. Should have cancelled and refunded us all. I loved AWATS when when i first heard it at 18 in the late 70's, finally get to see him and wow what a disappointment. Todd, you owe me.
