Do we realize the production excellence? Pure gold Todd. I really like this version...how the ending builds, the piano the one discordant note--so raw u feel it. Ending crescendo is mesmerizing. 'Someone' said 'you really gotta crank up the headphones on this one.' Always liked his voice--communicates emotionally and it hits us. He never considered his voice was best instrument but I always have. Since Nazz a fan, grew up near Darby. Thank you for upload!

Rundgren did an album once with cover versions of songs by Beatles, Beach Boys and other bands of the classic rock era.... He called the album Faithful becuase -- as with this Badfinger cover - his goal was to stay as true to the sound of the original recordings as possible

If I remember correctly, The group was Bread, with a lead singer , something or another Gates who supposedly after bread did some solo work what was compared to Todd as he sounded like a Todd album but was not Todd. He used Some of Todds early style's to design a cheap marketing trick.Thats a Gates for you. Al that said a nice rendition by Todd and so what, notice it was not a tribute
