Would you recommend putting a 21j carb in a ke21sp?

I saw your other comment, hadn't had time to reply. What I have found is that those Kyosho carbs look cheap and crappy, but they usually work very well. I would first try to rebuild the carb, it may have a dry or damaged o-ring. Most carbs are 15mm, but there are some 14 or 16. The 21j is one of the best carbs made, but I would not buy one retail. There are other carbs that work great. I like alpha carbs for their quality and low price. Verify the size of your carb, and if you can't rebuild it and make it work I'll see what's available. Thanks for watching

@NitroTalkwithTodd thanks for replying, turns out that the traxxis rebuild kit is only 5 bucks and comes with the exact size oring I needed. Fired right up after that and seems tunable now. Appreciate the input!

The kyosho rtr car sucks but this motor has been pretty solid. Excited to put the tekno back on track after fixing the carb leak

Are motor bearings universal for .21 engines? Pretty sure we have a front bearing leak on our ke21sp and want to get a quality one in there

Rear bearings certainly not, but there are a few very common sizes. Front bearings, on a big block engine, are pretty much all 7x19x6. I don't remember ever seeing one that wasn't that size.
