What a great song from an awesome album! If you were like me and lost interest in Styx after Mr. Roboto, do yourself a favor and check out their last two albums! Saw them live on their Crash of the Crown tour and they absolutely rocked the house. As much as I respect DDY and his massive contribution to their catalog, I have to admit I get it now.

It's so wonderful to have a new album from Styx. This song honours traditional classic rock without being trapped in the past by incorporating contemporary production techniques and Todd Sucherman's nuanced but driving drumming performance. The Masterworks drums sound great (although it looks like a Masters kit in the studio at the end of the video) along with the Sabian cymbals. Another great Todd Sucherman performance. Todd shows why dynamics in drumming are the key. He can drop in ghost notes to add texture to the song but then stir up a storm when the song needs it too. That's great drumming.

Right about the 10th or 12th time you watch this you kind of get a sense of how absolutely masterful Todd's playing is and not only that it seems like the band Styx has never sound more Musical to me anyways it just seems to me that I haven't heard any other songs but at least this song musically is one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard from Styx even their new guys if they contributed to the song in the studio or riding is is just absolutely incredible the musicianship on this recording is up there with the best of them
