That was the best video you ever made. Shhh, that ocho is a fish catcher.
Great insight, don't get stuck caught in a box. MAW bass

Hey that ned rig works I like the ewg style ned hooks they don't seem to get hung up as much as the regular ned hooks do.

I caught this little girl Sunday in the pouring rain with a ned rig with 8lb leader on the Coosa River in Alabama. Well crap..... it won't let me upload the pic. She was 5lbs 10oz but really skinny. Should have been at least 6 ½ spring time.

The craziest part of this video is the fact that you had your trolling motor on low for that long🤣🤣🤣and that tailwalker was out of his mind, great video, goes to show you, if Todd can slow down that much, anybody can, nice job buddy👊

I will say you made this as realistic as anything on the Tube Todd, and you explained a typical Sunny East Texas still day. Nicely done, if you can't go out and learn something new day to day or at least on an off day, then what are we all trying to achieve fishing? I definitely understand "some go to catch" and some have to learn something new to try and better themselves. I like you have a learning curve on Spinning gear. always have. I am kind of like Quigley down under "didn't say I didn't know how to use it, just said don't have much use for it" Thanks for a great video!

Caught this at lunch break, Been waiting to see where the comments go. Oh, I have my thoughts. Just wanted to see where this goes and if anyone one else was thinking along the same lines. Nice pitching Todd 👍 Curve ball - outside corner - @ the knees 😂

Heyyy that third or fourth fish was excited, looked like he was trying out his dolphin disguise, lol awesome stuff he tail walked just like a Tarpon. Funny how they turned on like that, but its that time of year so it dont last long but still on days like that man its a good feeling to catch a handful and Im like you 23 rods on the deck the spinning rod can be fun when you have moments like this. Great video and a perfect example of late summer bass fishing. You had to try a thousand things and be there when they turned on.

Spybait kind of day based on the bright skies and lack of wind and the shad balling up at the top of the water column. If the water is somewhat clear.

Omg! Spent the last 3 days on Hartwell in these exact conditions! I think the Ned rig is the only thing in the boat I did not throw!

The discipline it takes to fish slow and/or using a spinning rig is hard IMO. I decided to not fish as many derbys this summer and force myself to practice more Finesse technique’s. The results IMO has helped me dial in my Active Target skills and added to my abilities to adapt to more conditions.

I have the same problem, I know I have to use a spinning rod in situations, but I just have a hard time putting bait caster down

Its so strange how you can fish for a long time with nothing and one fish and then they get fired up, cool video Todd!!!

It’s crazy how it takes one thing to get that first bite then it’s on. And then it can stop that fast.

I always hated throwing the ned rig. On Chic this past winter I threw it during the BFL and hooked 8 fish and lost all 8. I have yet to physically land a fish on a ned rig. Gets frustrating

Hey Todd random question how do you know when to change fishing partners? What is best way to approach this difficult issue Any guidance or thoughts would be helpful

Is that a standing platform mounted on your trolling motor for sight fishing?
@KyleMast122 жыл бұрын
In that situation once you’ve gotten that cast dialed in and they’re eating it almost every cast. Why didn’t you go back to a jig or bigger worm for a possible bigger bite? Do you think your odds are higher of a bigger one biting because of them being fired up so it’s better to keep throwing the smaller bait and keep them going?

Good video. Love that type of fishing. Spinning rod conditions for sure. Gonna have to try that Ned rig set up. What size heads on that rig.?

Todd is there any reason you don’t use glue when using a ned. I just noticed your going threw a lot of neds but you might have a reason as to why you don’t use glue

Noticed you had your soft plastics in boxes. I'm overwhelmed by the amount I have in my boat and want to box it for better organization. Any types you keep in original packaging vs box?

Great video. On the subject of learning… when would you change colors - even though you were catching them on almost every cast - just to see if it’s better or worse?
