I got mine yesterday for $17.99 on Amazon. I tested SW at approximately 17:00 EDT and was pleasantly surprised while scanning up and down the SW bands. I clipped on my GA-800 magnetic loop. MW and FM were pretty good for me too. On FM, really good audio for the size of the speaker. A little fiddly tuning with the DSP but I'm used to that for these analog style dials. I love collecting these sub $20.00 Chinese radios. Some are real winners. I'm not much of a headphone user, so at least for me, no dings there.

This is hard to resist. It has a high "cute factor". I want it in gray! Your SW reception in this video was surprisingly clear. This radio seems to have improved handling of signal fading on AM and SW...the earlier DSP radios chop off the audio during fades; on this radio the fading seems more akin to what we hear on an analog radio. At least from what I can tell from this excellent video.

Hi Todderbert, thanks for the review. I've looked at the Bajali BJL-671 FMAMSW radio before. It's nice that it has a USB-C jack, but yes, I agree with you, Todderbert, the antenna is a bit too short, and it would have been nice if it had a headphone jack, as you also mentioned. But I have to say Bajali has something special with its speakers. I only have one Bajali radio, the Bajali BJL-668, and wow, it has a great-sounding speaker and very good reception on the FM band. And the Bajali BJL-668 is okay on the few shortwave bands it has. Todderbert, another radio I am looking at is the Gelilim (RX-169S) FM/AM/SW1/SW2/BT. This one is very similar to the Panasonic RF-2400D that i own, but it is an upgraded version if we compare it with the Panasonic RF-2400D. Then if the Gelilim (RX-169S) has just as good sound and reception, I don't know, but I'm thinking of buying it. And also, Todderbert, I am really happy with my latest radio buy it's the ALLOYSEED W-209 micro pocket radio. It has a very good sound, and I think it has almost as good speaker sound as the lovely Prunus J-177 micro pocket radio. I bought the ALLOYSEED W-209 micro pocket radio on the AliExpress website, but Amazon US doesn't have this micro pocket radio. However, Amazon UK has it under the name Aidntbeo. But personally, I still think the Retekess PR12 has the best main speaker sound if, we're talking about micro pocket radios. But oh yes love the ALLOYSEED W-209 micro pocket radio its have very nice features and the speaker sound is almost as good as the Prunus J-177 take care Todderbert hand have a nice evening or soon night.

I think I picked up New Zealand with it, though that station has been coming in clear in the late evenings here in Chicago.
