Obviously, he’s not. He can’t be because I am the most humble person of all time. It’s the key to my spiritual greatness, being so very humble. People ask me all the time how I achieved this great enlightenment and spiritual profundity and I tell them it is due to self-awareness and humbleness. Now I know there are cynics out there who will raise their eyebrows and think at my claim to be the most humble person ever born (and therefore, the most spiritual) is immodest. They might say that I am bragging, but the opposite is true. I avoid false humility by being very clear that I am more humble, more spiritual, and generally a better human being than they are. Also, this is just a bit. Totally not serious.

It is my personal observation that people who make such declarations about themselves do so because they feel misunderstood or they have been falsely labeled by other people who have their own mental issues. If the judgement of others does not match what’s reality people can feel compelled to “testify” on their own behalf. Now also take into consideration the fact that Trump’s entire livelihood has depended upon him “selling himself” in order to secure some type of business deal. So, Trump is attempting to “pitch” himself and his agenda; it’s been his lifelong vocabulary style. We are, in fact, creatures of habit, are we not?

There's a general rule with people I take and that's that, very very often, what people declare themselves to be is instead exactly the thing they're struggling with the most. A humble person is humble naturally, it probably barely registers. An arrogant person goes through great mental strain to appear, act or sometimes even be humble, so they greatly overestimate that attribute based on how hard it is for them. Same with people who often loudly declare they always put other people ahead of themselves: that might be true for some of them, but it's obvious that it is a forced trait, not a natural one, or else there'd be no need to advertise that. Edit: With that in mind I fully believe Trump believes he is the most humble person he's ever heard of, because in his deep deep state of narcissism, anything shy of declaring himself the God Emperor of all of humanity and if applicable all other sentient species is him severely downplaying himself. That's the scary thing; even in his misguided grandiosity he's making attempts to seem fair, I would love to see what his dreams looks like.

The word "narcissism" is thrown around a lot in describing people who are just your garden variety jerk. There's a huge difference. Narcissism is a clinical term describing a mental health or personality disorder or illness. I don't think it is treatable. A jerk displays narcissistic traits, but is capable of changing when properly counseled. The ornery boss, or overly strict parent or disagreeable husband are not necessarily narcissistic. A true narcissist is insufferable and often dangerous.

I had a boss who exhibited the signs of maladaptive narcissism. He designed a solar heating device that had a large panel of copper pipes that were painted black. It had an electric pump to circulate water through the pipes and store it in a "Yuge" plastic reservoir in side a poorly insulated building. When he was proudly trying to show me how it worked, I inquired how the pump would work without electricity, say in an ice storm when power outages occur. He was convinced that he, with his degree in engineering, knew all there was to know about solar heating and that I lacked the degree. In February, over a three day holiday weekend, we had an ice storm and power failure. The floor of the building the now, what I dubbed the "Polar Project" was an ice rink. The toilet stool was split in half and looked like a frozen fountain. The genius stood looking at the thermostat setting on the back-up furnace, which he had disabled, and pronounced that "it says 55 degrees". All the while, vapor is coming out of his mouth and the thermometer next to the thermostat is registering 14 above zero. At the time I thought, this guy isn't the sharpest rocket surgeon in the Christmas drawer. Now, I know how maladaptive narcissism works.

@raidermaxx23 Carter's presidency is considered a major failure because he had runaway inflation, extremely bad foreign policies, with the exception of the peace he brokered between Egypt and Israel. The Iran hostages were freed the day Reagan took office. Carter also had no domestic achievements. Yes, one of the defining traits of grandiose narcissists is that they are aware of their own narcissism on some level and usually view it as a positive thing which is why they rarely seek treatment for it. Narcissists love themselves and therefore they love their own narcissism. They see the confidence and selfishness of narcissism as traits anyone would be foolish not to have. Of course, if they realize people around them have a low opinion of the label "narcissist" then they might deny it if accused of being a narcissist in order to be viewed more favorably (essentially denying their narcissism for narcissistic reasons), but it won't change their behavior and they are still aware that they are narcissistic.

Both types tend to deny any flaws they have, they will be 'over-aware' if and when any of their traits seems to benefit them, while denying the same or other traits when they seem to reflect poorly on them. Shifting blame to others ("China virus") can help them in pushing their failures/flaws out of their own consciousness, possibly to a point where they cannot even become aware anymore that there may be something wrong with them, which results in the superficial resistance to criticism. @@mrkmh1 Right, exactly, which is what makes you suspect, and believe me, I'm no special pleader for any politician - especially him. He ran, as I recall, against Clinton, who we just discovered in recent days, if the special councils filings are accurate, and I am inclined to believe due to the controversial nature of this that he is overly cautious, that Orange man was telling the truth about everything to do with the Russia collusion escapade, and Clinton was not only lying about it, but paid to create it. But to you, he is pathological. You are 100% incapable of stepping back and examining your biases, and thus you will think anyone you politically oppose lies, and those you politically support are (more) honest. A scientific approach would show that you are incorrect about this. They both lie any time it is expedient for their career or brand. No more, no less. This is a standing assertion that applies to all politicians. In fact - in thinking about it, Trump having not been a politician may have lied less, I'd have to go through a list of all of their whoppers to be sure. But one thing I am sure of is, if you think that he lied more and your politician (in this case I guess Clinton or Biden) lied less, it is you who makes the claim that is pathological. The DNC and the entire leftists coalition are working hard to get a man elected solely on the basis that he is easily controled. Many of the so called "progressives" have admitted this openly. They cannot accept a DNC voter base that told them "no, we want moderation." This can be easily proven as every "progressive" candidate lost to Biden in the primary. If my choice is Donald Trump versus stacking the Supreme Court then my position becomes quite clear. If my choice is extremism verse anything else...I'm taking anything else. I would much rather talk about the DNC's unhinged voter base. They believe that speech is violence, looting is justified, and burning businesses is fine because they have insurance. The Supreme Court is already stacked. It started with six members. You could say anyone adding a Justice above six members is stacking. Plus Trump put many people to power who had conflicts of interest, which also ruins checks and balances. The EPA advisory boards that are meant purely do give scientific advice were either gutted or replaced by people who wanted to consider other factors like the interests of industry (aka "selective" science, which is not science, thus destroying the unbiased nature of the boards). For other areas in government where Trump has hired officials for personal interest, look at Some More News' video on how Trump "rebranded the swamp" FDR also considered "stacking" the Supreme Court.

Thanks for a very interesting video. There are rumours that Trump didn't actually graduate. At least one tutor has described him as "The dumbest student I taught". Maybe his father 'bought' his graduation. No one of even average intelligence (like me!) would say: "Water's wet"; "George Washington used airports": "Let's nuke hurricanes"; "Women fancy me even if they don't know it"; "What's NATO?" (on his first day in office, scandalously); "I've got a bigger nuke-button than you"; and so on. I realize there's a difference between stupidity and ignorance - it's accepted that Trump has no interest in anything outside of his own self - but Trump's stupidity is overwhelming. When he started making 'messianic' statements, as we knew he eventually would, he should've been removed from office. Shame on the enablers who helped him stay in office. Now I'm going to watch the Does Joe Biden have Dementia? video. I suspect he has, as Ronald Reagan had, and don't understand why America favours elderly Presidents - but my goodness he's preferable to Trump!

At the end of the day, consider that a "self-aware" or "adaptive" narcissist might be a person who is on his or her way to an awakening of just how ridiculous their feelings about themselves truly are, and it is people like you who are in a unique position to call them out on their bullshit and enlighten them to how wonderful it is to consider first the feelings of others and how one's words and actions affect those emotions. No one in the history of the world has ever used first person pronouns such as I and me better than Donnie, lol. Or more often.

I have the deepest respect for this man because he's not talking down to his viewers, there is Democrats here, and Republicans.
