All of Dr. G’s burns are solid, but my absolute favorite thing is when someone uses a hyperbolic percentage in a false claim of innocence. It’s as if the doc is offended on behalf of mathematics. 500% the best part of any analysis.

Someone please explain to me why, in America, when a welfare check is requested, and police can't get anybody to the door, they leave? I hear this time and time again. In England, the request is not complete until they make contact with the person. Someone could be laying in there dying and in the US officers are like "oh well" everything must be fine. It drives me mad.

I’m not sure how it works in every other US state, but in my state a welfare check is not a warrant to enter into a residence. The only way to forcibly entire a private residence is if there is probable cause (visible and obvious signs a crime has been or is being committed) or a warrant. Other than that, all the police can do is attempt to make contact. For instance, if a police officer can see through a window that there is an unconscious body, then they can forcibly enter. But if there is no reasonable indication of anything going awry, they cannot enter.

As a math teacher, thank you so much for blasting murderers/criminals who use incorrect mathematical terms such as 1,000%” and “10,000%” to defend their innocence. Now, they just look 100% guilty AND 100% stupid. 😂

To be clear, a percentage is just another way to express a fraction with a 100 denominator. When used to express a fraction over a finite amount of something, then 100% is your max. When you express growth over time for example 1000% growth would be correct to say.

This reminds me of the Christian Longo story, and how he annihilated his whole family as well! He did kill his family because of his failing career and not feeling sufficient enough for his family. I do wish they could’ve made the movie about him much better, at least to compare with the book. Overall family annihilators are very interesting, the way they justify killing their families never ceases to amaze me (a lot of them do tend to be narcissists), great analysis Dr. Grande!

I forgot: do family killers tend to have had prior DV convictions/allegations made against them or not? Chris Watts was said to have stood out to investigators because he _hadn't_ ever been accused of so much as raising his voice toward his wife/kids, so I'm leaning toward the answer being yes.

i thought this sounded pretty similar. i think its because of the watt's quick case. it all happened really quickly, and it was quite dramatic. with chris acting like he was all sweet and nice on camera in my opinion, if shannan was that bad, he should leave. if she really was that bitter, controling and frustrating he should have left. its infurating that people blame her, or the kids, for his own actions. it is the same here. this man is just as vile

I think as almost every aspect of the watts case was recorded and released plus she had lots of public happy family videos prior to the event made for an easy documentary to piece together. They are both evil. I don’t know what’s worse, Chris Watts burying/putting kids in oil drums to your own family or Anthony hanging around the rotting corpses….Amazing they didn’t kill themselves. I guess that makes them cowards.

Sounds like Anthony may have been way better off in the long run given his temperament and family background when cutting his losses much earlier on while in an applied medical science program or soon after when trying to make the grade too when it comes to getting enough numbers of new patients who actually come to their scheduled appointments. Maybe he would have been better off apprenticing somewhere for a guy often named Joe like in Paris right now too like a teacher at a prep school for women wanting to enter into the trades that I used to have by the first name of Mary while he was falling into line with all of the favorite stereotypes about who all should be the blue collar workers or the priests which people like to hold onto so dearly while almost everyone else too is worrying too much about what they will wear and what kind of car they will get to drive themselves to work while trying to fit into the world of white collar professionalism too when trying to feed all of the hungry mouths at home? My teacher Mary was sure good at carving wooden doors instead of only hoping they would stay open for her.

Reminds me of John List in 1971. Their houses even look alike. There were so many similarities but also some differences. Still, the psychological part is interresting.

It reminds me of John List, too. Though, List was more calculating, and careful. And smarter. If not for that TV show, he might never have gotten caught. Didn't Dr. Grande do one on List?

@@JustDr.S yes, Dr. G did do a video on List. I agree with your comments. List, much more intelligent. The funeral dirge music he left on was just so flippin creepy. The profiler who worked on John Lists bust was amazing! Bob Clark didn't cut it.

@@reneeolson4881 Yeah, for 20 years Bob Clark had it made! Until his neighbor spotted him on America's Most Wanted. Then, not so much. He was a terrible person. Waiting for his kids to come home, one by one, and he kills them. Couldn't deal with family life and some money problems? They weren't anything huge, either. Lots of people go through worse in life. He just wanted the easy way out. Coward.

Why would the family live in Florida when the family business was in Connecticutt? Why didn't Anthony just start a new business in Florida? A fancy rental bouse, a condo rental, the cost of a home in Connecticutt and the cost of weekly trips to Florida? It's no wonder he was in financial trouble.

I knew Megan too. She was a such a sweet soul who loved her family so much. It's a haunting reality that in hindsight so many red flags came up for me that I didn't see at the time about Tony. The fact that he is projecting his actions onto her only adds such a disturbing situation. Luckily most people seem to be seeing through his delusion. I think of Megan, kids and breezy often!

I enjoy hearing your side of things, but do miss hearing more of the life analysis of people not entirely tied to cases like this. Keep up the good content! He actually thinks people believe him he's so grandeur. I'm not a fan of the death penalty... But for someone like him... I'd take no issue and would likely vote yes.

@@rockyevans1584 LOL. I think it's just one guy Pretending to be an army? Yeah I'm up in the air about him. He's funny sometimes. But at other times, I think he goes too far. I don't live in an area where we have this particular type of problem. I don't have to drive to the supermarket. And even If I did, and my car got bumped by a shopping cart, flying freeeeee in the wind.......... My car is so full of dents already, 2002 Honda, inherited from an elderly woman, where I live it takes a beating! narrow streets, touch parking, and more! I think there are other social issues the CART NARCS could tackle. That might not be as funny & too serious. But I appreciated the video where he stopped the guy from J-----g o-f in public. I think he got the idea for his channel from the Russian channel "Stop Douchbag".
