When Natalie was first born, her parents had many of the same hopes and dreams for their daughter as all new parents have for their children. But when they learned of Natalie’s hearing loss, they were devastated. That’s when they decided to explore cochlear implants. And, starting with Natalie’s cochlear implant activation day, they immediately noticed a difference.
“We had one of those KZbin moments where she clapped her hands and started laughing, and I think at that moment, I knew that we’d made the right decision for her,” said Natalie’s mom, Charlene.
