Traits.equip_trait trait_happy_toddler/trait_top_notch_toddler seems to work on children

Idk if they fixed it or if you guys have been putting in the cheat wrong but you can cheat it in as a child as of today, but you have to type the word trait into the cheat twice. Traits.equip_trait trait_[the toddler trait you want with underscores between each word] I forgot the second trait and thought it was still broken until I realized my mistake

This worked for me but I had to take the word "hidden" out for happy toddler. EDIT: For the clarity and sake of future people, the working cheat is traits.equip_trait trait_happy_toddler

hello, bug still exists!!! spent all day carefully maxing my super sim kiddie out, he definitely got top notch infant but didnt get top notch toddler :( i use no mods at all, not even mc command center

personnaly even after 8 months I still get the glitch and I used MCC Center to give the trait to my child sim. basically i went on a computer in game, clicked mccc > MCCC Settings > Notification/Console/Menu Settings > Console Command Settings > Debug Commands in Cheats and enabled it. after that I shift clicked my child sim and then cheat sim info and add trait. so much to do just to add a trait 😣

I k ew sommet was up I litterally spent days maxing my toddlers skills and happiness and they never got there traits and I was so upset, thx for the video

Doing super sim at the moment. I got all the toddlers maxed and everything, spent days on it. Aged uo my child today and didn't get it. So annoyed. So thank you. For this. At fkrst i thought i did something wrong then realised it was a glitch of sorts

@@ChaniZA Happy it wasn't my end and cheats can be used. Cause I was sorta upset. Worked so hard just for it to bug on me. I always forget how buggy Sims 4 is (especially since my laptop itself is bad as well) Thanks for the video though! Saved me a lot in not having the trait! 🌸💕

Still not fixed in 29/1/2023 as I spent lots of time maxing the 5 skills only to not receive any reward trait. It's laughable how bad the game actually is without additional packs/kits but it's inadmissible those are either full of bugs or lack content as well. The wedding pack was literally broken for a long time for example. And it's also the little details that sims 4 is lacking that you see how little EA cares or effort they put in the game. Yeah you can tell I'm pissed lol, sorry to vent it out here. Anyways only solution is to cheat, with your sim selected just open commands (Left Shift + C) and type: *traits.equip_trait trait_Top_Notch_Toddler.* This will add the Top Notch Todler trait to your sim.
