Todd Sucherman- Styx- Medley with the CYO 2006 (Quake Cam full Audio)

From the "Quake Cam" footage from Styx's "One With Everything" live with the Contemporary Youth Orchestra in Cleveland. This has the drum "Quake Cam" and full audio with picture in picture from May 2006. I had arranged this medley that was played live with the band from 2003 to 2006. Liza Grossman conducting.

There is no best I suspect, however, he is among the top on that long list. I never heard of him, then I saw one video and now I search for them for drum lessons. Every video such as this one is in fact a thorough lesson. I am grateful.

Simply amazing. Obviously John Panozzo (RIP) laid the foundation for the drums and percussion of Styx, but Mr Sucherman, you have made it your own. Powerful, and yet quick as lightening and smooth as glass. Maybe the coolest part was on your t-shirt. Faith and family. And performing for, and with, a Christian group of young people. Thanks for sharing your talents.

FINALLY!!! DUDE, how did you get the original audio back for this chart? For so many years, ASCAP had banned this original recording due to copywrite infringements (left with HORRIBLE residual audio) but NOW, BAM! ALL BETTER NOW!!! This reminds me of when I was a kid. I would drum to the radio, regardless of what played. I learned to switch gears, styles, and how to "feel" the music. Notice that I did not compare my talent to Todd's because he's the drummer I've always wanted to be.
