The reason Todo had that All Might thing is because he was imagining it in order to get into the “zone” that way he can do black flash. When a sorcerer does black flash he enter the Mamba state like Kobe did when he played basketball. That’s why Todo said “Yuji and the mahito are already in the zone are you going to leave your brother again” season one he didn’t land a black flash only Yuji.

The crazier aspect is Todo walked into the fight knowing if he got touched once he’d die and that his hits are not going to damage Mahito. He’s a dog knowing he’ll be there to lift Yuji up and support him as his BESTO FRIENDO, plus the scale. Even if Todo could take one touch Mahito would make sure to touch him again and it’s game over, this is how you set true stakes in anime. No one’s safe and just imagine walking into a boss fight knowing if they TOUCH you it’s a one hit K.O.

To the extent that he told Yuji in S1 (episode 4) that if Yuji let Sukuna take control, he'd fuck Nobara.
