Edit: Rasticore's hand remained intact on its own miraculously while the rest of his body was reduced to ash. But regardless, everything else still stands, Rasticore had a hand, Toffee has an eye, and Toffee is always watching. Seems like an analogy, Rasticore being muscle, and Toffee being brains :)

Have you considered if toffee planned EVERYTHING. Everything from the last episode of season 1 to season 3. He knew star would defeat him. He knew how to use ludo FROM THE VERY FIRST TIME they met. And maybe he even knew about eclipsa through her husband. Maybe he has some kind of connection with heinous?

Hey i think that Toffe will return because as long as there is a part of the body then they can regenerate into a while form and since Ludo has his eye then he would regenerate were Ludo put him even,if there is a gooy substance left then he can regenerate Rastacor regenerated from ash so it is likely that he can come back but I don't think it's likely.

Best guess, Toffee knew about the Star family history. He knows that the one on the throne belongs to a line of usurpers. His plan was probably to look for Meteora and put her on the throne with his stand as an advisor. We do get that kind of feeling when he was with Ludo, a manipulative advisor.

Even if Toffee doesn't return in a later episode, I would want to see him in a flashback episode. We know why he wanted revenge against Moon, but he killed her mother and led the small army of monsters to war against Mewni and we have no idea why!

Well, in a way the history of Mewni may have given his motivation. I mean, Mewmans were revealed to have taken the land from monsters in one Season 1 episode. That could be Toffee's entire motivation: taking Mewni back for monster kind (or at least himself) Eliminating the royal family at that time would have furthered that cause. When Moon stopped him and revealed that power from Eclipsa's pact he changed to more cunning tactics because his regeneration wasn't the catch-all ability once thought. Personally I would like a more personal elaboration/reasoning, but that is what I've come up with. Would I like to see his return? Absolutely! It's all up to the creators, though, so we'll have to wait and see what happens, if anything, regarding Toffee.

We can assume that Toffee will return due to the fact that he hasn't pursued his true goal yet. He had plans when he killed Star's grandmother, but they were delayed when Moon disbanded his army. Toffee's entire arch was to get his finger back, so he could inspire monsters to fight alongside him once again. Destroying magic was just a bonus. Only after that would his true objectives be revealed, which means he still isn't done. However, I don't believe he will regenerate by the same process of Rasticore, since a slow healing isn't exciting enough for a character as big as him. When Toffee comes back, you can bet it's gonna be all of him at once. And it might take a while too, now that the focus of the story has shifted to Eclipsa and Meteora.

Since Toffee's last words were about only he knows, what will happen, and then finding out about Eclipsa and Meteora... i can't stop wondering: did he know about this? Did he attacked the Butterfly family, because he knew, they are not the true rulers of Mewnii? My only theory is, that he could be working for Meteora's father, or knew him back then, when they were stripped from their righful throne. Maybe Toffee is executing a plan set up by the monster Eclipsa fell in love with.

I would say that the fact the wand reflects the monster arm is mostly confirmed, because the last thing the arm says is that "you can treat the symptoms, but you cant cure the virus", which does imply that the arm would have lingering effect AND make a return in some manner at some point.

Oh my god I thought I was the only one who really appreciated him as a villain. Yeah, his entire, intact eyeball was there after his defeat. Ludo made no move to destroy it, as far as we know, Moon ran off to check on Eclipsa, and to our knowledge no one else gave Toffee's remains and intact eye any second thoughts, as they had things to tend to. They never even seemed to 'clean up' his remains or ever mention that place with the pillar again. I, for one, thought that Toffee inspired a sense of real fear in comparison to Ludo or the other, less major villains we've faced. I mean, we never actually got his backstory, motives, family, or anything of the sort. The earliest thing he's been mentioned to do is kill Moon's parents (or just mother, I forget). But we don't really know why. It's made to be like the story starts with that event, and obviously Moon is vengeful and does the spell and etc. We never got his reasons as to why, and Toffee doesn't seem like a ruthless character to me. His plots had purpose- to get his finger back. Then he just walked away.

It should be noted that while not always the case by a long shot (as its up to the parents) traditionally a Baby Shower (lie like the one in the episode) normally occurs fairly early in the 3rd trimester. More specifically, Baby Showers traditionally occur 4-6 weeks before the due date of the baby. If you factor in summer vacation and perhaps note Angie being potentially pregnant prior to Marco leaving, then it has been upwards to about 7 to 9 MONTHS since Toffee's defeat as of Marco Jr.

Actually this kinda of makes sense, " Only I know how this all turns out" this makes me think that Toffe is just waiting for something, to appear again maybe, after the fight about the mewni kingdom vs Meteora, I'm pretty sure the kingdom will be defenseless at that point and Toffe will return or something like that. The main issue here is what side is Eclipsa, will she help fight against meteora and get back her daughter? Is Toffe related to this? My only ideia to think that toffee is telated to this is, what if he brings back Eclipsa's husband? (monster one) and that can make her change sides cuz "fighting against my own familly". Also we cabt forget that in the end of season 1, Toffe pointed to Marco while he took of his suit, he's going to use marco for something. In the case of Ludo, Toffe was in his hand, what if toffee is inside Marco quietly waiting for the right moment, cuz he knows star will not hurt marco, for that to end marco had to be distroyed. Only the next 2 weeks can answer our questions xD

Really interesting video Otaku, I also felt a lot more hopeful after seeing Rasticore's return as well. I definitely think Toffee still has a part to play and that him, Meteora and Eclipsa have a connection storywise. One of the major things was that they made a point to have several characters question the strangeness of Toffee's literally sweet name, which was something they purposely shown Elcipsa to really really love in the Battle of Mewni Arc. Plus his extensive knowledge of magic and the Butterfly family gives me hope that it may not be all coincidence.

He's highly intelligent yes but there are some things that just leave you too wondering how he figured out all this stuff. Carlos Alejandro Alvarenga No he wasn't. His eye is still "alive", so he can regenerate just like Rasticore's arm. I've seen what Toffee had done in the realm of magic and it's completely different of Meteora's magic (her dad's) or Eclipsa's, which is basically represents evil itself. Toffee did some things that are on a completely different level and still he wasn't phased by anything till the very end. He had a goal and he's still trying to accompish it. As I can see it, he's not trying to help Meteora/Eclipsa or her husband. He deffinetly knew about everything from the very beggining, but he didn't do anything to save them at all. I think that he's working with the corporation that turned Ponyhead boyfriend into "that thing". You could say that I'm going wrong with that, but if you pay attention to this dude you can see his brainwashing is a fake. Also, something like: "Dead? Oh,no... I am unkillable." or "Our corp. also can make this high technology newborn horn" is just creeping me out. We can assume that he's immortal by what he said and there are not so many immortal individuals existing. If you look at the expression on Eclipsa's face when Moon asked her about the spell that can destroy immortals, she was deeply shocked to hear about such individual. I can assume that it proves immortals are dangerous AF and you can't kill or destroy them by any means, the only thing that came to mind to Eclipsa was to seal his heart off his body so he wouldn't be able to live. Also, if you look into the grand-ma room you can see Salaria killing off some crazy looking monsters, but they weren't mentioned to be something that is worthy of being mentioned in the tapestry. Then we have Eclipsa with her husband Globror, and look, he wasn't worthy of the title he had or anything that mentions his soul-stealing powers. Hovewer, when we go over to Moon's tapestry, we can clearly see the wand refering to Toffee as "The Immortal Monster" which proves Toffee as a character is far more dangerous than any of the other monsters we've seen. When Toffee saw Eclipsa's spell in action he was confused but not intimidated, he may have been frustrated as his finger was transfered into the wand. Hovewer, with the way he's doing thing he could've killed Moon in that moment even without a finger and then go into the wand memories to bring it out. But in that moment he just stand up and left. It felt like he was forced to do this without killing Moon or smth like that, but it was clear that his intentions are way more complicated than we think. All of it proves that Toffee as a character should be appearing later in the series and that the corp. (I've forgot the name of it) is something very dangerous but nobody knows about it. Just feels like I should've picked this two things together, they're both mythterious AF. :)))

Notice that Rasticore only has one eye (the second is a purple gem). Also notice that Toffee was reduced to one (intact) eye. Going out on a limb here, but what if Toffee plans to implant his remaining body into that of Rasticore, who may or may not have superior healing abilities. I think this because: During Moon's youth, we see Rasticore with two eyes, both of which are functional. We don't see how he loses one of them. Could that have been Toffee's doing?

my guess about Rastacore's missing arm and eye, age and or the number of times hes had to reform. perhaps their species still has a limit to how often they can heal themselves based on how often they need to how extensive their injuries are and how old they are. the older they get or the more often they have to reform something, the less successful the process is over time.

For me, I would probably say that his return would be somewhat calm, but he still has a plan. He sill holds a grudge from the mewnis & marco, and maybe he'll probably help them a few times, but also still won't be able to be trusted. Here's some lines I came up with just to do it... Toffee: "I still of grudge against you, & the mewnis. I might be able to help you a few times. But don't expect me to do that forever. So still expect me to betray you. Don't know when, but only time can tell." Then some time one of them started to trust him. Then they got betrayed. The End.

In toffees skulls on his arms he has two queens heads. One of which has the same cheek marks as eclipsa. But she is not dead, with this knowledge that no two queens can have the same cheek mark how is this possible. Also the other skull has the cheeks of a queen that has not been born yet. The daughter of eclipseas , her fake daughter which was a peasant who grew those cheek marks. But she has not been born yet.

I always thought that Toffee's "death" was waaay too anti climatic, seeing as how powerful he was by just possessing Ludo, wiping out every member of the Magic High Commission. But what's more important about this, is Toffee's influence on magic as a whole, causing a universal "Fritz" to the magic of all magic users. I honestly think Toffee was a greater threat than the show led on to.

Okay now I *really* want Toffee to come back! It would be so amazing and epic on top everything that Star is going though right now with Eclipsa leaving to who knows where to do who knows what (from her point of view, *we* know where she went), her mom being gone resulting in her having to temporarily be queen (or not, who knows when/if moon will come back) *and* the love triangle we got going on. I'm not convinced. Moon and Eclipsa's pact is pretty ironclad: thus, Toffee _is_ dead. It would be a fairly major violation of narrative reliability for them to simply bring Toffee back.

Toffee is dead. The point of the contract between Moon and Eclipsa was to show no doubt that he is no going to return. It's not like before when we had lots of clues to theorize on. The fandom needs to let go of the face that Toffee is going to return and move on. Also if he returns that would just be a cliche and pointless to the plot. Meteora is here and about to cause all kinds of madness to the kingdom so how about we focus on that. P.s. Rasticore's hand flew off when he was turned to ash, most likely for the plot and as we can see it was.
