If Evertton don't have to sell Dom in June then it makes sense to wait till July. Newcastle will probably be willing to pay more in July due to their own PSR issues. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this has already been agreed.

There is some misinformation being spread by some of our fans including on this channel about our "innocence" with the PSR stuff. Everton didn't just harmlessly breach by a few million. The first deduction related to 4 seasons - 18/19, 19/20, 20/21, 21/22. We were still overspending on players for a couple of those seasons. And paying off managers in millions too regularly. We also pulled a fast one with Covid losses and took the piss with the transfer levy thing. That's not to say other clubs haven't also exploited situations to a worse extent like Chelsea. But our fans need to stop making out we didn't do anything wrong and it was all stadium related cause it wasn't!
