Just a little tip that I do (just take it with a grain of salt) I do 1 room at a time & don't move on until it's completed. This way I have at least 1 room done instead of 3 half done. That may not work for u though. I think u accomplished alot & I Love the award system u use. Good job! 👏

This was so fun! The animal crossing comparison was actually pretty accurate cuz it was like the start of your island where you're weeding (decluttering) and now you get to decorate!!! Both the xp point system and star ratings were clever ways to organize!!!

You could add a fun “you” element to the bob ross painting. You know those more contemporary additions to old paintings. I think you need to create a designated spot in like a closet for trash hoarding that limits how much you can keep. But also! Post extras on buy nothing groups etc. People always need packing materials

The toothbrush principle book has some good advice to start decluttering with your least accessed storage and progress up to your most accessed areas. This then leaves you with space to put things into homes that make sense to you, tends to work for me when I declutter!

If you have an item, (for example, your Bob Ross painting) that you want to remember, but don't necessarily want to keep. One of the best things I've found is to take a photo of it, and then that way you have the memory, but not the object.

Yeah! I do that, and then i keep all those pictures together in an album on my phone or computer, so that they dont just get lost in my camera roll.

I would keep the embroidery hoop I mostly use it for fixing up clothes. makes sewing shut holes so much easier as the fabric inst moving around all the time. honestly I think I never used the hoop for its intended purpose but for so much else sewing wise 😂

I do understand about wanting to keep useful recyclables. What I have done is recycle it and then when I need that sort of thing to move I get it out of somebody else’s recycling ☺️ Hope this helps you to not feel you need to store it in your apartment ❤

Also this is quite funny, when you put all your stuff on bed and was so happy that floor was empty... I'm the same at least once a month xD also, no girll, starting is not the hardest, the hardest is when you run out of energy it is 11 pm and your bed is still occupied by random shit xD been there... Anyway I keep finger crossed for you! I see now that I predicted right haha :D Also, I loove the editing and vibe you made in this video! such a fun edit!!! Ps. if I could give you one advise for future decluttering - first figure out actual space for things you want to keep like art storage shelf, etc. it is so much smoother this way, than labeling all of it and then putting it once again on the floor with hope that future you will figure out all this stuff's permanent placement :D

You take this seriously in a realistic setting with every-day goals. Nicely done! We all have our own versions of the packing material. It's also interesting to see someone with a "stuff hobby/job" (art) contemplate what to keep. I play drums, there's just not a great place for everything with limited space, and that's OK (I think). Side note, you have plant game.

This is such a great idea! I've been working on my small business for a bit now and get super overwhelmed with the admin side, so I think I'm going to take inspiration from this, and try to make a gamified system on my to do list! Also, with your trash, maybe see if your city has stores like Reverse Garbage? I'm based in QLD Australia and the reverse garbage here is amazing, its basically whatever they can save from landfill that could still be reused, they will resell at a really cheap price :)

Here is some helpful advice. You want to have to touch said items as little as possible so designate a permanent place to put saved items and get rid of trash items if you are living in a small space. If you had a basement then saving trash for packing in the future is worth it but in a small space it’s not worth it. Moving items back and forth over and over is making a chore take so much longer which is why you will lose momentum in getting it done.
