One thing i want to add about this is that the anime cut the beginning parts of the My Villain Academia arc in favour of building up to the new movie.

As Bakugo at the sports festival said quirks are a part of them, and the vise-versa. Quirks are also a part of a person's personality. When Toga was in that life and death situation her quirk's full extent was activated. She drinks blood of those she loves and if she loves them to the point she really want to be like them, she can use their quirks *just like them* until the disguise wears off. This was also a result of being in such a life and death situation and her really wanting to be loke Uraraka who is really trusted by Deku. This explanation was left out of the anime.

Fantastic Toga episode, they did our girl so much justice in this amazing episode!!!! The eerie dark flashback and sad scary music was amazing and done very well. I loved it, My Hero had an amazing chapter and episode both this week. One of the best chapters I've ever read in the My Hero manga came out this weekend in chapter 324, probably my favorite ever chapter and moment in the series history. This weeks episode and chapter also matched so well with the characters and content. Fantastic MVA episode and Chapter 324 of My Hero Academia was one of the best chapters ever made and of all time.

For Toga's case... her ability was the cause of her being shun from society as she have a natural affinity for blood. Her parents didn't properly told her how to manage her personality and ask why couldn't she just be normal. So she forced a nice personality mask to fit in with the norm... however when she saw a boy (Discount Deku) her urges kicked in and her personality reverted back to her actual true self... the self that was shun from the norm. Toga case is always overlooked even in real life... as signs of kids murdering animals is a sign of a mental illness... a lot of parents and people in society ignore the sign or handle it in a wrong way (i.e. Why can't you just be normal). Toga case is similar to La Brava.... La Brava quirk made her affectiom of love much stronger as her true genuine feelings of the person she loves makes them stronger. However because of how both of their quirk effects their personalities... La Brava love ended up stalkish and creepy. And no one expressed or told her how to properly handle her emotions. Same with Toga... she even went to the same course as a child that Bakugo and Todoroki had to deal with in the remedial course arc (this wasn't in the manga so it's not spoilers). The flaws with the hero society is being shown piece by piece. Toga's quirk is shun upon hero society thus becoming a villian was inevitable as she was forced to put up a front. Now for Toga power up... in the manga arounf Volume 19, way before MVA arc. Horikoshi put out Toga's info and in the info it states he can copy the quirks of those she transform too.... however Toga didn't know that until now.

The most important thing that everyone here in the episode always overlooks.... The quirk affects personality. Toga > fascination with blood Shigaraki > wants to destroy Katsuki > a very explosive personality Of course, a quirk doesn't affect the personality and you say: Ok, that's how it is. Despite his quirk, Katsuki is a hero because he wished to be one himself, because his parents were (halfway) lovingly raised and accepted his ability. But what about toga? The flashback showed it clearly... what a quirk, fascination, parenting and social actions can trigger

She is more like the guy from Class B, I forgot his name. She is limited by the need to ingest blood. Probably can only use 1 at a time - the appearance she is assuming. AFO is the broken version of their type. Though Toga's can do very well on espionage type of missions.
