Skiathos Airport in Greece has a runway length of 1628 m. Wizz Air's Airbus A321 NX also flies there. Flights to the UK on Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320, lasting 3-3.5 hours, operate with a 65-70% load to reduce weight and avoid refueling in Thessaloniki. Similar to SNA (Santa Ana), TO/GA (Take Off/Go Around), a fast takeoff roll and a steep climb are employed.

@@a380sanm first of all, thanks for the support! In Airbus terminology, TOGA means Takeoff/Go Around thrust and is the highest power setting there is, except for some of the older American standard 321s which have a bump setting.

Oh yeah- we had about 50 or 60 open seats and it was fueled just for the flight to PHX- we were light. We could have used a FLEX takeoff however American has requirements in place for the entire airbus fleet that mandate TOGA thrust, APU on, and Flaps 3. Thanks for watching!
