Tohatsu 15hp EFI 4 Stroke & Hydrus 3.7m Speed Test

Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel!
Today we have a video on my Tohatsu 15hp outboard!
We were in Chichester Harbour after a livestream and the conditions were perfect to take some speed readings!
I hope you find the video informative and interesting & showcases the engine.
The engine is on the back of a 3.7m Hydrus air deck.

Yeah mate they really are great engines! I plan on doing a 1 year review on it when i get some time!

Those Tohatsu outboards are really good. I'm using a 20hp and just love it. Very economic.

Yeah mate they definitely are something special! Im planning on doing a 6 month/1 year update video on it as I had a 9.8 about a year ago! Shame theyre so heavy though 😅

Do you store it inflated? Or do you deflate? Also hows portability of the engine? Is it difficult to carry it around?

Hello mate, I have my boat inflated permanently on a trailer. The engine is also “permanently” attached to the boat and I have a lock fitted to the engine. Before I was carrying the engine in and out of the car etc and at 43kg it is a real struggle for most people. Especially not having a car that has a flat boot as well.
