Hey Steve, another good video. I like the American Standard toilets too.. Have you ever had a problem with a leaking tank at the bolt holes. The Champion 4 model uses these rubber bushings. I finally now replace them with stantard tank to bowl screws and washers on new installs. I also agree with not using the supplied wax ring.

Almost better off throwing a closet screw in there, it threads into the subfloor and has machine threads on the other to accept normal toilet washer and nut. Saves from having to pull the flange off provided the crack isn't bad enough that it's leaking water. That or a stainless repair flange. You make some of the best content on YT, everything you do shows how much you know and how much you care about doing the job right. Keep up the good work!

just asking but is that flange a twist in so that it seals. I know that chalking is code in places but I always leave a 1 in gap on each side in case there is a water leak
