Yesterday I pulled a toilet because a kid flushed a showerhead down. Had to push it up form the bottom and retrieve it from the bowl. Gave it to the mom. To make matters worse, the flange was cracked. IT WAS A REAL SHITSHOW MAMA

I have been putting a zip tie on the disposal collar, found a lot getting loose. I crimp it in with my pumps then zip tie it. I also zip tie a business card on it.

Out here in southern California we have 1.5L toilet flush capacity. When you flush you hear the wind and cricket's chirping. Gotta keep a collection of chopsticks on the cover.

@@craigharding475 the little guy at the Asian restaurant asked me if I know how to use the chopsticks. I told him to come over to my house. I said you'll be very suprised. With a 3" outlet in the bowl you gotta be choosy what goes in and how big.

@@vincentc.8069 Thanks, I think I get it...golden state save the planet flush toilet so weak, that "chop sticks" (either literal or figurative) are used to breakup the big boys so that they are rendered more cooperative (flush friendly). I`ll sleep better tonight!

They usually warranty them for 10 year for shingles and labor. The shingles can last about 30 years

Usually 10 yr warranty and 25-30yr lifespan. Unless you get a good salesman to sell you a 100 yr lifelong shingle and a 1 yr warranty. lol

Just had mine replaced. Lifetime warranty pro rated after 50 years. No wind limit on warranty. 20 year warranty on workmanship of install. Timberline HDZ architectural shingles.

Did they pressure test and if so, for how long? Assuming they did and it held for 20-30 minutes, then I would expect you’re fine.

yes a new ac system has to be evacuated or it will die a young death .. topping of ??? if the leak is small ,,, reuse the line set ..maybe depends if its hard to replace ..

@@stevenlavimoniere line set is above drop ceiling so they said it would be hard , but no pressure test was done and we had to have another technician come out and add a lot of Freon a week later. It wouldn’t cool the house down . They are coming out Monday to pull a vacuum and refill the system. Their technician said that they top off all their new installs (1000s) I guess because the Acoil and condenser are precharged ?

@@playerroku4412 if you have to hold the handle, the flapper is closing to soon. Shorten the chain connection on the flapper a link at a time until you get the desired flush.

I prefer the old, simpler ball float on the metal rod fill valves. Mine has worked fine with well water for years since I used plumber`s grease on the upper pivot inside the screw-off cap. The newer "leak proof" fancy contraptions are temperamental with the sediment around here.
