As a non-plumber, this skit actually helped me solve a plumbing issue. A couple of months ago, my toilet starting making scary noises. It sounded like there was an animal trapped in it and it was trying to escape. I took off the lid and I could see water spurting out. Turned on the tap and the bath and I instantly remembered this skit and realized there was air trapped in the line. I live in an apartment, so I assumed someone else was responsible and ignored it. It went away in 30 minutes or so.

I absolutely have to agree with ian. I've been doing home repair a various kinds, including plumbing, for over 20 years. And absolutely plumbing issues are sometimes caused by supernatural means. How else can you explain somehow getting an entire transformer down a toilet line.
