Perhaps the tokina at 11mm is a bit wider than the tamron because the lens is a bit shorter and hence a tiny bit farther away from the subject given the tripod doesn't change its position? Great review nevertheless!

Have you tried it on full frame to see the coverage? The Sony 10-18mm covers full frame from about 13mm
