I side-eye the fans who are shocked at the bisexuality displayed. Bill is the same kid who, at elementary age, sang It's Raining Men in the most flamboyant way possible. I also kind of side eye the ones shocked by the orgy. A. Tokio Hotel are from Germany, which is in Europe, where sexuality is less taboo in comparison to the US. B. The members gave me the impression that they slept around, at least Tom, with groupies, and that was around 5 or 6 years ago? So it's no surprise that they're unafraid to depict sexual situation, now that they're more than of age. The music is different from Tokio Hotel of past years, but the essence is not. Bill is still in his feelings, the videos are still dark and touching on humanity and angst while the other members play their instruments in the background. The biggest crimes I get from this video are the jackets Bill was wearing, and Tom's beard.
@maxanelle10 жыл бұрын
Oh gosh! Bill's Raining Men was the best 😆 Tom dared Bill to sing that song because he lost a bet, it isn't because he wanted to sing it :P

@shintotchi10 жыл бұрын
maxanelle I could argue that if he was ONLY doing it for a bet, he certainly wouldn't flit across the stage with such joy and gusto, but I think his vague sexuality over the years, and this bisexual orgy says enough.

I used to think that they were absolutely terrible...but this song and their complete makeover as adults pretty much changed my mind.I saw Bill Kaulitz on German TV in a talk show a few days ago and I was pleasantly surprised.Very polite, humble and well-spoken. Their new album with its 80s synthpop analogies is pretty awesome. I wouldn't consider myself a fan at all, but they have great potential.

I think the reason why TH music videos don't have as many views as others is because we actually buy the Album and play it nonstop in our phones, car, computer, etc. We don't come to KZbin and watch the video because we only like that one single. No! we listen to the whole album and that's AMAZING! Many artists have singles that are successful, but people don't buy the album. Not with TH! we buy the Album and listen to all of it nonstop. We often can't even choose which song is our favorite. IF THIS MADE SENSE LET ME KNOW LOL It was just a random thought! lol

+Emily Flores Yeah... cept that random thought is wrong. Many of the old TH fans are gone because of this new trash. This video was my first, and last, foray into their new stuff. It's awful. Back to Monsoon, 1000 Oceans, World Behind My Wall, and more of their good music.

+InteriorGaming Funny that you say that. Many of them actually left because the boys were inactive for so long. I was one of them and I actually didn't know they had come out with a new album until just a little bit ago. I didn't pay attention to them for five years and now I'm having a hard time choosing which song is my favorite, which is how it's been with ALL of their albums lol I will say that I don't like the music videos, but the songs still hold meaning, which is why I began liking them in the first place plus the fact that they're always changing. But they do still sound like their "old" selves in some of their songs. One would be Great Day. Brought me back to the old days even if it doesn't sound exactly the same anymore. But I've accepted that they grew up and moved forward with their careers. I can't keep them in their 17-year--old bubble even though I would love to :(

early Tokio Hotel Fan from Austria here! If you dont want to, you dont have to read my comment because... this might be a little longer than the usual comments on here. When I was at around 12/13 years old, I absolutely adored them. I was in love with Bill, and wanted to go to a concert more than anything else in the world. But there were people in my class, that hated this band and then, came to hate me too. "Hate" is a very strong word for 12-year olds but to just say that they didnt like me, is just not enough. When the few friends I had came over to my house, I would take down all of their posters and hide all of their CDs I had, just to make sure that no one would notice. Because before, I made a mistake by bringing a binder full of cut out magazine scans and such to school, because I was so proud of my creation. Someone saw that and BAM, there was I, their target. from that day on, I would never talk about Tokio Hotel out in public ever, because I was so scared of people hating me for it. I was 12. Only 12 years old. Now, I will be 22 in December, nearly 10 years later, I can say I am over it. I am over all the days I cried myself to sleep because of those horrible kids. I am over all the things they said, and did to me, to make me feel like I was less of person. Now, I say I loved Tokio Hotel, I really did. Now, I can say I listen to american country music 90% of the time, even if this genre isn't very big here in Austria and most of my friends listen to totally different kinds of music. I can say, that I love Musicals and Theatre, even if most of my friends dont necessarily share my passion for those things. I can say that, because those things are a part of what I am, and what and who I want to be, it defines ME, only ME. One of my best friends loves rock music - I kind of hate it because for my part, I think its too loud and... rocky? But that doesnt matter because we are still friends, because those things do not define what our friendship is about. So if you are still reading this, I would like to answer on this comment - tell me your story. What makes you, you? Did you have a similiar story to mine? Please, feel free and share it. If you dont want to share your story, please keep this in mind: I can say, I am over those things. Things that happened, that have been said. That doesn't mean that I will ever forget, but I do hope that one of the people that were hating on me in "Middle School" read this and feel like that this is also adressed to them. Also, if YOU are one of those people... Fuck you. You made me think I was less of a person than you, because you didn't like the music I liked. I hope you've grown up and changed, because if not, I feel very sorry for you.

+nenainwonderland I'm sorry for everything you went through when you were young. Some people can be really mean and inconsiderate. Living in the United States, I know a lot of people who went through the same situation as you did for simply liking different things. I've always liked "weird" music compared to the one that is most commonly heard around here, but fortunately, I was never victimized for it. Sure, there were always people who called me weird or said that what I listened to was shitty or "not real music" but that didn't really bother me. You mentioned that you like Country music and I personally don't like it at all, but it's ok because we all like different things. Cheers from the United States my friend. :)

+nenainwonderland Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience. Firstly, I think you're beautiful :) And secondly, I was once like you. I was afraid to tell people I like Tokio Hotel because I like their music and Bill's style. To others, he's gay because "he puts on eyeliner". It's great that you have gotten over them and I'm sorry to hear you were a target for sharing what you love and that you had to take down your posters when your friends visit. I just got back to listening to their newest songs and though their style has changed, I'm still happy that the band is still making music. Now I don't care whether people judge me for what I listen to! Like, fuck you and your opinions on my choice of music!
@fulicasenia9 жыл бұрын
+nenainwonderland Ah, your story brings back lovely memories of my youth.... When I was 11 or 12, a very beautiful and physically mature girl in my class happened to be the cousin of an old friend of mine who had moved away. He came for a visit, and stayed with his cousins, and so it came to pass that her mom drove up to my house with her and my friend to take us all to the amusement park. The first words out of her mouth were, "Do you like David Bowie?" This girl was normally way too popular and cool to be seen talking with me at school, but because we weren't at school, and she was my friend's cousin, I thought that she was trying to be friendly and have a good time with us today. I said "yes," and she replied, in voice dripping with disdain and disgust, "David Bowie is a FAG!" I did my best to ignore her presence for the rest of the day, which I guess is what she wanted.... Now that we are older and it's ok to like David Bowie, I wonder if she remembers that little exchange and blushes when she remembers it :) Probably not though, the casual cruelty of children is probably much better remembered by the victims than by the perpetrators.

Started with Schrei at 13. Listening to Love Who Loves you back at 22. I was angry and hated everything as a teenager. I'm an adult now and I've got shit to do. I am fond of their old music and their new music. No matter how crapfilled the world was or is, there comes a point when you just can't be angry about it anymore. Do your best in life as an individual and make the world a little bit brighter for someone who is still stuck in the darkness. I was an angry 13 year old. Schrei got me through those days of being bullied by classmates and the lack of understanding from my family. I screamed as loud as I could when I was alone. I decided that I would try to be the opposite of the people hurting me. At 22, I'll be graduating nursing school in a year and working with populations in need. I didn't have anyone that treated me with kindness when I needed it. I at least want to show kindness to those who were in the same situation I was in. Scream when you are alone and sad, then love and show kindness to others in the same situation. Love who loves you back.

"Too many lies, too many lives, too much pain, too many chains, too many tears, too many fears, too much waste, too much hate, too many… walls" This is not about the clip. It's about the comments I see here... People, Berlin Wall was torn down in 1989... Maybe it's time to destroy your walls of rejection? The boys have grown and it is normal that their music has changed too. Or do you want to 25 years Bill singing the voice of 13 year old boy? Songs by Devilish are cute, but you want still living in 2003? Band living until their music is growing. I love KINGS OF SUBURBIA! Amazing album! The songs and music are incredible! And it has a song for every taste: do you like ballads - listen to 'Invaded' and 'Run Run Run', like electronics - choose 'The Heart Get No Sleep' or 'We Found Us', and for heavy rock music lovers there is 'Stormy Weather' and 'Masquerade', ect. What about 'Love Who Loves You Back' - you can love the clip or not, but the song is cool! Fun and easy music that I want to listen to again and again...For those who bitching about video, I draw your attention: it's just a video. The real life of an artist - is his private life, and I'm not going to discuss it, cause this is NOT OUR BUSINESS! And yes, I like THAT Bill is so hot in this video. It is a pity that the scene in the elevator was not included in the clip completely. ;-) #myfavoritescene And I like the fact that he continues to do what he wants and don't give a fuck of all your shirty opinions and comments. And in the end I want to say, the most importantly for understanding the song, it is not necessary to read the comments or someone else's opinion. You just have to listen to your heart and FEEL IT ALL. #ThankYouTokioHotel

Weiter so!

Hi, I´m from Czech Republic :) I just need to say something... I started to listen this musis band when I was 12 y.o. I fell in love with the music and of course, with the Bill´s voice. TH became a part of my life. The music helped me in really hard time - I was bullied at school since I was 12 to my 13. No one knew it. It was the most horrible part of my life. The only one thing that kept me afloat was your band. Thank you. Now I am 21, I still listen to your music and I need to say - it´s magical, the sounds, the words, thoughs...so, thank you again for beeing here. Sorry for mistakes.. :))

+Gideão Miranda Quieto hahaha I don't think is something bad to call them a boyband itself just because of their ages, i don't think it's a big deal ahhaha, but I would point out that what makes a boyband is mostly the fact that their "boys" don't play any instrument, they just sing - Backstreet boys, N'sync, 1D, all that. Our "boys" on TH do actually play their songs, and have a single vocal, like most rock bands - the only thing, their sound is not so much rocker as it once was, so it's kinda hard to call them a rock band nowadays. Blah, let's just say "band" and call it a day hehehhehe

I have always loved Tokio Hotel. I loved them in the beginning and I love them even more now. Everyone changes with time, and during their absence, they evolved with todays new "trend" and you guys have to remember ( this is for the Americans who may not know...) that in Germany, they do not discriminate about same sex relations as people here do. To me, this video states that you should be with whoever you want and whoever wants you back, rather it be sexually, physically, or emotionally. And that no matter what you look like, gender, race, or age, you should be with whoever makes you happy ( or..."happy") and to just live freely, have fun, and do what ( or who..) you want. That's just my opinion though.

i fucking love this so much. the song is so catchy, and i think it has a good message (dont waste your time with people who dont give a shit about you, cause you deserve to be with someone who loves you/wants to have sex with you) but its also the fact that theres a HUGE variety of models in the video. young, old, tall, short, fat, skinny, black, white (the list goes on) as well the fact that there is a lot of representation for the LGBT community, which is great because it shows that EVERYONE deserves to love and be loved regardless of what they look like/their sexual orientation. a lot of people might see this as overtly sexual and perhaps perverted but i just love it

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one of the old fans who grew up with them (I started listening to them back in 2005 when I was 13) that loves all of their music, old, new, all of it. We grew up, they did too and their sound changed. that happens when you start a band at 16 when you are still not sure who you are as a person and how you want to express yourself. I was an angsty teen and I loved to blast schrei in my headphones. then I grew up a bit, wasn't THAT angsty anymore and I loved humanoid and pain of love because they were a bit calmer but I felt they had a lot more meaning. and now (when I'm nearing my 25th birthday) there's this and I love it all the same because I arrived at a point in my life where I literally listen to any kind of music as long as I like the song and don't try to restrict my music taste according to boxes of genres and I think this is their most emotionally packed album yet. I can't wait for Dream Machine to come out. They are all incredible musicians and artists and seriously, I have no idea why people are complaining about the sound/genre change. But to each their own I guess.
