I am excited for all your test knits. You are the cable queen. Honestly, no one else I follow likes cables as much as you and I love to see all the different patterns you're working on. Great color choices for everything too. I hope your allergies clear up soon. ❤

So many lovely knits - you have been busy. I watched this as I frogged another garment and was shocked to hear you had to frog the Grayling - such as shame as yours was gorgeous. Happy to hear you are loving the Seeknit needles because they are so beautiful - those needles are perfection. Had I tried them sooner, I would have not purchased the Chiaogoo bamboo set. I still use my Chiaogoo stainless steel & give them a very slight edge over Seeknit needles. Definitely a good investment for you as you have so many gorgeous knits.

@@Enig_Mata I agree. The Seeknit needles are incredible but I think my Chiaogoo needles will always be no 1. I had to frog the Grayling cardigan because I felt that the Lion fishermen’s wool was not the right yarn (even though it’s one of my favorite yarns). I’ll definitely cast it on again in the future.

@@toksknits I bet it will be gorgeous when it's remade. I have come to appreciate the lighter weight of merino especially on garments that take a lot of yarn.

The color of your Moby sweater is so amazing. It reminds me of a freshly squeezed green smoothie. I d love to try cascade 220 as well! Overall, thank you for another episode and a great time!

The sweater you are wearing is awesome. I have a question and I hope hope hope you will answer lol. I have been trying to do the Flax DK by tin can knits, but although the app is easy, I get to the short row section, and the world implodes around all the beautiful ribbing I've done, all my increases go awry and then all the stitch count that was accurate a few rounds ago is wrong. I have cast on this sweater over 6 times and have yet to get to the sleeves. I keep trying but not working. What do you do if this occurs? Have you ever had an episodic thing like this to happen to you. Any hints or suggestions for me. It may be a mental roadblock for me, but I need to get past this lol. Loving your podcast. Jo

If your stitches aren’t off by too many, you could maybe do a few more increase rounds before splitting for sleeves. If the short rows are causing holes in the fabric, I’ve found that the best thing to do is to really tighten up the stitch when you make your short row turn. That helps a lot. The stitch count is easily fixable. You don’t have to start over. Just knit a few more rounds and increase on every round until you get the number of required stitches 🤍

For that color blue - knitting for olive has a pretty blue called "poppy" I'm not sure they have a dk weight though? But it looks to be a pretty good color match.
