great vid. good skills on the audio. shame about the trees. Ive seen the ravens by mine doing the old 'drop the nuts in the road for the cars to run over and wait for the green man to pick them up' (as seen on Attenborough) on more than one occasion.

Thanks! Ravens are really smart. They can remember faces, so if you are nice or nasty to them, they will remember. There's an interesting YT channel - Fable the Raven.

Really sad about all the trees being chopped down. Your weeds and grass have really shot up on your plot. At least you got an Mcd and ice cream on the same day!! Will you be harvesting all those walnuts? 👍🏻

I went back to those trees this morning. Found out they are Dawn Redwoods, Metasequoia. Took some cuttings, so hoping I can grow some. I really want to harvest some of those walnuts, but I'm wondering if it actually belongs to someone, or the local community. Guess I will find out in the autumn...
