I did the 24km race.
Warm and sunny day in the mountains west of Tokyo.
This race is all up and down, very little flat.
We visited the Takamizu shrine, located on top of the highest peak on the course.

Definitely one of the most interesting races you run, lots going on, meeting the mayor and not tripping over a tree root!! Love the Relive map at the end 👍🏻

Yes, it was an interesting race. Lots of people along the route. The mayor coming over and saying Hello was such a surprise! Good weather as well - last time I did this one (2022) it rained the whole day.

That was impressive with all that altitude. Looked really fun too especially with camping out the night before.

All that UP nearly killed me! It was harder than I remembered. But it was a good race.
