I first watched a video of yours about a month ago and found you really motivating & inspiring so I signed up to Run a 10K race last Sunday. I loved it and spontaneously decided to book myself into a half marathon. I did the Liverpool half today in 2 hours 7 mins and 52 seconds and I’m so proud of myself. Never thought I was capable of doing anything remotely like it & your practical advice as well as the fact your just generally motivating really gave me the kick up the ass I needed!! THANKS FLORA 🥰💛

Any advice for training while you’re at school?

A good point - of course I could have turned down the marathon because of the jet fuel, but I do try my best in everyday life to reduce my footprint on this earth. It was merely an observation of the Japanese culture.

@@FloraBeverley I disagree with your point about Japanese culture. Is the UK really that good at dealing with plastic wrappings? This is a problem that confronts every country.

@@jcchalfin4700 definitely a problem that everyone comes across for sure! When you talk about Japanese not good with recycling, you do know their household separate their trash everyday for recycling right? I don’t recall your country doing the same, please do some research before you show your ignorance next time.
@FloraBeverley5 жыл бұрын
I did not know that, but since March I have found out! Apologies if I offended you personally - I was commenting off what I'd seen between my hotel and the marathon expo, which was that recycling wasnt a thing in japan. Obviously this only is the case for tourists, not locals. For the record depending on where you live in the UK we also do separated recycling but that's not really the point - I was merely commenting on my impression at the time.
