Living in the US, if I wanted to find the angry gun outer barrel set, what sites are the best to shop? Impulse 101 doesn't seem to have it. And i haven't had much luck finding other sites or knowing who is reliable and who isn't. Samoon is one you've mentioned before, but they seem to only carry GHK stuff. Are there other reliable sites?

Bonjour mon ami! The MK18 rail was a perfect fit. You require an adapter ring/barrel spacer in order to install aftermarket rail systems, other than that it bolts onto the upper receiver just fine. The attachment plate purposely does not have a hole for the faux gas tube, so I drilled out a hole so I could attach my low profile gas block + gas tube. This is completely optional. Spear Arms, Orga Airsoft, C&C Tac and First Factory produce these adapter rings. 👍

So I’ve been watching your videos pertaining to the GHK M4 GBBR and the TM MWS M4, and I’ve settled on getting the TM MWS. Now before I get one I just need to ask, how compatible is it with real steel parts? Do you have to do a lot of modifications to get rails to fit, or is it simply plug and play? Furniture wise I’m a Magpul fanboy. So will a mil spec Magpul buttstock fit, or will I need to get the commercial version? If anything I’ll keep the pic rail it comes with because, once again like Magpul furniture , I like the look of the rail, unless I can find a compatible M lok rail.

Thanks for watching my videos. The problem is that the TM M4 isn’t made to accept real AR parts. Optics, pistol grips and commercial stocks are probably the only things that you could bolt on without a second thought. I haven’t installed a rail system beyond the Airsoft spec, and I wouldn’t like to assume real ones would fit.

Hey mate, I wanna install the Madbull MK18 Rail to my GHK M4, but the barrel nut doesn't fit. I've seen there are spare Madbull barrel nuts for G&P, Systema, regular AEG threads, do you may know which one would fit the GHK? Can't find any info of that. Guess a new barrel nut is better than rethreading, also for switching back to the delta ring (in case).

Hi bud, I’m not sure which one would fit. You might have to rethread the upper, even though it’s not what you want to do. It’s the method that most GHK users have opted for when that have issues screwing on a different barrel nut.

Why is the butt stock lever loose? Is it in the detent? I've been reading that the buffer tube can be tight on some collapsible stocks. Is this the case?

Anyone has problems with this Madbull DD mk18 rail? If I tighten the barrel nut too tight: I can't push or insert the receiver pin any more. Which means the rifle can't be taken apart for hopup adjustment and cleaning. If I tighten it a bit loose: The rail wobbles. There is too much play in the rail and barrel. I'm really tempted to toss out the Madbull DD rail in favor for an EMG one now. It's out of spec, doesn't even have a hole to accommodate the gas tube and doesn't fit well for the MWS.

+Tom Andrews Because TM's outer barrel specific design, it requires an adapter ring in order for aftermarket barrel nuts and rails to fit. Without one the barrel nut won't tighten down to the outer barrel. So the barrel would become loose. Strange concept that TM chose to opt for but it is what it is. Spear Arms produce a barrel adapter ring which does the trick and I believe AngryGun produces an LVOA wire cutter.

Sir one thing to ask, is the mws out of the box has along inner barrel same length with its outer barrel. Did you bought shorter inner barrel to convert it to mk18 or both inner and outer barrel. Is the mws has a thread near the front sight so it will be shortened

Paul Renpaul Hi, the TM GBB M4’s all come with the same length inner barrel. 250mm I believe. If it were any longer then it could produce a high FPS, and that is not acceptable for the Japanese FPS restrictions.

+Andrea Melegoni Yeah for sure. Of course with either platforms, bb quality makes a difference. I've found that running decent heavy weight bbs, typically any weight from .25g - 30g, scores exceptional hits out to 50m. Obviously the electric guns can provide a higher volume of fire due to higher capacity to accomplish successful hits whereas this GBBR only has 35rds to play with. Thus the reason of using higher weight bbs to tighten those groupings at range. Electric guns you could get by with .20's and blaze away. Indoors however tables turn in the GBBR favour with the instantaneous shot release. So much so that it's cruelly unfair 😁

Hi! The Madbull DD MK18 RIS II I have in this video *is* the one for the AEG. The threads are the same and all you would require is the barrel ring adapter, to screw on the Madbull DD Barrel nut and securely tighten it.

Its the Madbull DD MK18 rail with aeg spec barrel nut. Be sure to pick up a Spear Arms Rail adapter ring before attaching a new rail system. Unfortunately it isn't a straight forward plug and play.

It certainly makes the working parts glide easier. Nice and slick. You don’t want to remove it, if that’s what you mean. There’s also a G&P roller bearing attachment for the tail end of the carrier and this is said to improve the cycling even more.

The GHK has superior recoil out of the box. You’d have to buy heavyweight buffers and other bits to give the MWS the heavier recoil that you seek. You can’t really have excellent fully auto performance and heavy recoil at the same time. Unless you HPA it, but only psychopaths do that. And you don’t look like a psychopath to me, 😉 But yes, GHK will give you the best balanced performance/recoil ratio without having to upgrade.

@@johnswag1424 It’s an option. Even in colder conditions you can get by with GG, and even better with co2. Personally I think HPA is 🤮. The challenge of limited ammo and gas is usually the juice. It keeps the gameplay interesting and makes you a better player because you have to think before each engagement. That’s the problem with Airsoft these days, folks are too frightened to be at a disadvantage. Embrace the fear.

+Juan Manuel Luque De Castro With this TM M4 MWS you can use the barrel nut that is supplied with the rail. This is the Madbull licensed MK18 RIS II. No issues installing a low profile gas block, in fact I have a real Vltor low profile gas block for this build and it fits snug onto the outer barrel. To have the ability to install aftermarket rail systems, you will require an adapter ring for the barrel nut to lock tight against. Without one you will not be able to tighten the outer barrel onto the receiver and it will be loose. Spear Arms or PTS make them for the TM MWS.

Did you pay the full 1200 1300 for the Elcan Spector 1-4?, seams a bit over priced for an AS gun really. I just installed DD rail. But, I didn`t use my PTS rail adapter because it didn`t need to install DD rail. Is it right? I thought to install any aftermarket RAS to TM M4 gbb, PTS adapter was essential part. In addition, I didn`t use DD rail adapter(?) which included in Madbull DD rail set.( I don`t know exact name of that part. which has thread and rounded nut) I just used original part.I amd also wondered I install DD rail correctly.

You need to use the DD barrel nut over the outer barrel. You would also require the adapter ring to go underneath in order for the DD barrel nut to tightly secure the barrel in place. Is this how you built it?

What fps does this give out ? Thinking about getting one. I live in Ireland and I think 320 is max allowed.

Depends on what gas you’re squirting through it and what temps. My M4 isn’t a good example of what you’d get now as TM revised their nozzle following the first batches of M4’s in early 2016 with a small hole which helps keep it within their countries regs in the summer. Mine can shoot as high as 400 on hot days just using regular propane. Your results likely won’t be the same.

Hi, As far as I'm aware its based on its own dimensions rather than specific to one or the other. However, I hear it's closer to Milspec than Commercial. I've never really swapped out stocks, just threw on whatever I had in my parts bin and luckily they've fit just nice. Check out some of the FB groups to see what people have mounted to theirs. Or look at the massive TM MWS thread over on Airsoft Forums UK, lots of information on there!

+Nicolò Villa You can fully customise this with any AEG spec handguards/rails, as well as stocks. Although for different handguards require an adapter ring for the outer barrel and barrel nut to fit, depending on your chosen setup. RS rails etc?? Unfortunately not, The buffer tube is commercial sized, so commercial stocks should be fine. No worries, hope this helps.

Hi there. I haven’t changed anything except for the upgraded UAC Nozzle Spring Set. The original nozzle spring snapped after 1 year and I did the upgrade which was cheap and easy to install. Oh and for the summer time I use an npas (old RA Tech WE Open Bolt Type) and this helps keep the fps down. That’s it. Thank you for watching!

It runs beautifully! The only gas I use is Propane (Green Gas) and I’ve been using it in the TM M4 MWS since it came out in 2015. Not just me either. Most of the users on the Facebook groups use green gas also.

Yes it was easy enough. As I had the original M4 14.5” outer barrel set, I needed the Angry Gun Milspec Barrel set which has the multi length extensions. It came with the adapter ring that is required to take up the space for the barrel nut to tighten back onto.

I have see that although it is priced higher to begin with. TM are as bad as some premium car manufacturers, give you less, charge you more.

how does it hold up in cold weather?

+Marco G I haven't used it in sub zero conditions but I've used it in 5 degrees C and it was running just fine. Cold wet and miserable but still allowed it to empty the magazine and positively lock back. Fully auto worked well too. Without the green gas mod it would induce cool down halfway through the 35 and it would struggle.

If you want something you can practically use in game, Tokyo Marui wins hands down. If you want a wall hanging display piece Inokatsu for sure! My old INO M4 was as beautiful as Christmas morning.

BadaBingPictures I’m looking for something that’s going to preform great in game. I’m currently running and lm4c with the steel hop up and bucking upgrade and I’m constantly double feeds and it making me what to get an aeg (tm 416 delta) but I move the realism from the gbbr and I just watched your video on the ghk version 2, does the tm work as well as the ghk in cold weather? Thanks.

I think the TM 416 Delta would be a great option for winter gaming. And also having a more realistic edge than other AEG’s. Now getting back to GBBR’s, the Marui performs just as well as the GHK in colder weather using the same gas. But the GHK is built to take CO2 and options are available to use that as its primary gas source. So the GHK is able to outperform the TM in that regard. When using the Marui M4 in colder weather, I was always mindful to expect a decrease in performance. When I used CO2 on the GHK M4, it was an odd thing not to have to worry about the temperature getting the better of the rifles capabilities.

Were you caring about the 10.3 or 10.5 inch barrel lenght? I'm about to transform my GHK M4A1 (14.5) into a MK18 Mod1. Samoon has 10.5 inner and outer barrels. But I found 10.3 Alu outers from 5KU (WA GBB compatible) much cheaper, I've heard there are better quality Madbull 10.3 ones, but haven't found any. Then I question myself why do I care so much for like 0.5cm? lol

I have one. It’s in pieces because it’s terrible. For the life of me I cannot get the output valves sealed and the bolt lock is weak. Ace 1 Arms have just brought some PMAG’s to the market and they’re looking to be rather decent according to a few initial reports.

Not without heavy modifications. It wouldn’t be worth the stress. The new PMAGs are designed much like the original TM version. Two pins holding the lid and gas filling at the bottom. Check out the Ace 1 Arms mag.

@@BadaBingPictures i still have some of the original Beta Project PTS Windowed pmags. The t8 mags look pretty promising. Ey it looks realistic so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Double eagle made some windowed gbb mws pmags too. You can see them on Evike

And they make Lancer type mags too, if I recall correctly. Any new mags for this system will be a good thing. As long as they’re as good as the originals. I hear good things about the Guns Modify PMAG’s. Ollie Talks Airsoft made a good video on them too.
