Huh, I've also got this gun but the black version. The magazine doesn't have the same finish as you do. I will have to get myself a pipe cutter so I can do that gas mod. I will have to rewatch the guide to do the same to the TM AKM mags too even if they are already quite efficient as is haha.

Kjw 1911 have been beautiful performers for me. Lifting 40gram bbs out of the box with insane accuracy and consistency. If you didn’t go with a Marui I would have recommended one of those instead

Recoil Guide Rod Plug and Barrel Bushing. 1911's are made by MGC, Tanaka, WA, Marushin, Maruzen, Tokyo Marui, KWC. KSC/KWA, WE / AW, Raven, Vorsk, VFC. and G&G. Edit: forgot Army Armament despite having one on table next to me. lol

I did the mod to all 7 of my mws mags, made them way more usable. It's a bit of a pain to do, as re-compressing the BB follower spring and trying to clip the base plate on is a bit of a pain. But well worth it once done.
