I've been going to Rock Bar since 2013. The owners are lovely people living for the good life. The atmosphere really is amazing, and hasn't changed since my first visit. So crazy you mentioned it.

I have no idea why that has gotten so popular with tourists (and almost tourists only). Lines of families standing and waiting there with little kids, taking pictures, in Kabukicho with yakuza and prostitution joints around them

Been to many big cities but I love how bright Tokyo is, how cozy the bars/restaurants are and the atmosphere! Work hard, play hard lifestyle there. No wonder the marriage rate is on the decline!

Robot Restaurant will definitely be on my agenda the next time I go back to Tokyo, thanks for the heads up...I’m not a drinker so I miss out in most of your spots, I’m a foodie and as you know Tokyo is a foodie paradise as well as the Akibara district....and many more...Tokyo is a happening city...and the people, fugetabout it.... they are soooo respectful...everyone should visit Tokyo and get a eye opening experience about the Japanese culture and traditions...

When I went to Tokyo for my 6 months study abroad I kinda avoided all places with gaijin/foreigners lol. I liked to go clubbing in clubs with 99% Japanese people. I can speak Japanese so it was fun to meet Japanese people that way.

The upside here is that even with a near empty wallet, having to find breakfast in a convenience store in Tokyo at 5am isn't the completely debilitatng experience it is in most other parts of the world. No idea how they make packaged meals that actually resemble food but they do. Thanks for the video.

It's not as exensive as most believe.. Airbnb is your friend and keep a lookout for cheap airplane tickets, restaurants arent to bad there and familymart/lawson/711 are your friends.

Just so people don't get confused the amazing view from the Glass Elevator at 9:49 and 10:10 is from the Excel Hotel Shibuya not the Park Hyatt Shinjuku. Though the Park Hyatt did feature between the elevator up-down shots. Oh & PS - LOVED and Subscribed ;)
