If the WiFi is bad, could you upgrade the wifi in your room at your own expense? Do they typically ask to see a visa when trying to live in a sharehouse?

that answer depends on the sharehouse. but yes, most houses will ask to see visa.

i'm pretty sure LA/NYC/big cities have sharehouses, they're more known as co op living tho i think? check it out i've definitely seen some things floating around
