Came back from Japan last month and I’m so depressed! 😭 lol I love thrifting too and the first time I got out of the Shimokitazawa station, I was extremely overwhelmed at the magnitude of vintage and secondhand stores on every single corner! I basically bought a huge backpack from RagTag, walked all over Shimo and filled it up! lol I wanna go back so bad!

I live in Japan. Let me give you a tip! You can do it yourself at home or hotel. Go to Japanese super market. Try their bread, butter, milk, cheese, coffee or egg. Very high quality.

Hahaha it’s honestly very hard to choose one over the other - we have come to the agreement that Australia had more good coffee than Japan, meaning you could just wander into any cafe in Australia and have one of the best cups of coffee ever. But there is a handful of specific spots in Japan that do the best coffee in the world, Bongen specifically being the absolute best cup of coffee we’ve ever had hahaha 😅

Awesome video! Since you like coffee and liked Brazil, try going to "café Paulista" (カフェ-パウリスタ) in Ginza, if you have the time... It is the oldest kissaten in Tokyo, opened during the early 20th century and still in operation in Ginza... The owner helped Japanese people migrate to Brazil and, in exchange, the Brazilian government gave him tons of Brazilian coffee beans that he used to open the coffee shop! Even John Lennon used to go there
