Kawaii Monster Cafe was super fun. I would have enjoyed it more if it weren't for jet lag but it was a great start to my Japan trip.

A place that I loved when I visited last year was the Burnside Cafe. The food was soooo good and it was a cute little diner. I highly recommend it if you're in the area. I was really shocked you didn't mention crepes in the video. It seemed to be one of the bigger things in the area. Seemed like every block had it's own unique crepe shop.

Don't forget Togo shrine for the Admiral Togo who defeated Russia fleets in the sea of Japan. It's located behind Takeshita street.

At that 3D cafè - can they make a lattè with say 'Rick Hunter & Lisa Hayes' from Macross I (Robotech U.S. ver.) as the artwork?

Can you still see people cosplaying on Sundays or has that gone out of fashion?
@tokyocheapo7 жыл бұрын
+Rae Winborn that's all gone now. You do sometimes see people wandering around in Harajuku wearing interesting outfits, but the Sunday bridge cosplay is no more.

How could you not mention the okonomiyaki place behind Design Festa! That place rules.

Sorry if this is nitpicky but your intro music is just so unpleasant. it's very shrill and not a good fit for an informative video in my opinion. I always either want to skip it or turn my volume down, which isn't a good start I would think.

Found the place really underwhelming recently and disappointing - the main walk way is a real let down with part of it smelling like urine and felt unsafe.. spent 30min there jumped back on the street & never re visited.

Wish that place was more wholesome, the girls look half dressed so I’ll never go!
