Makizushi is more food per plate compared to nigirizushi, so Sarah eating kappa maki was a bit of a tactical error. The fact that she still tied is very impressive, especially with that amazing last-minute chug.

Kaiten-sushi is my favorite. I love this squad together. I love how y’all always try to include Alex even though she is behind the camera. At Kura (local Kaiten-sushi place) I clear about 20 plates on the reg plus a bowl of ramen and 2 or so taiyaki. Right there with Sarah on the Tamago & Kappa Maki.

You have to love the kitchen staff peeking at you at 2:30 :-D I'm a little intimidated by places like this, but everything looked delicious. I have never tried natto, and I'm a little scared of it, but at the same time I feel that I _need_ to try it at some point just to know what it's actually like. We do have sushi where I live, and I like to get it sometimes, but I always have to remember to ask them to exclude the avocado nigiri, because I absolutely dislike avocado :-/

2 things, 1. Thank so much for all the great videos & 2. I live in a the contrary (small rural town) in Arkansas, USA & I wish so much we not only had a sushi train restaurant but that we had a restaurant period that I didn't have to drive 15 minutes at least too. This is where I grew up & I love it but I do miss the convince of living on a big city (moved off from here for 10 years).

Post video - Sarah had the best idea wearing a stretchy skirt. Emma with the undone belt was a funny sight. And now that Shiori has shown off the toy train, I feel that I need it for my train collection. That video was awesome! Makes me want to visit the sushi restaurant down the street from my house now for some kappamaki, ebi, kanikama, and tekkamaki. And now I am intrigued to try french fries with my sushi...

We have kaiten sushi restaurants here in Hawaii but plate prices our outrageous (as expected since everything is so expensive here lol). Like a plate of two ebi nigiri pieces is $5 haha so I only order like two plates when I go. But when I studied abroad in Japan, I was amazed at how CHEAP and good quality the food items were!

In Kyoto Station, they had coloured plates. Expensive, less expensive, cheap and cheap with wasabi. Duckbreast with mayo and onions is recommended with passion!! Think i did 15 plates easily as dinner after a nice kaiseki style lunch which was pretty abundant (and matcha icecream, snacks, countless bottles of barley tea (August!))
