Oh my god, when Shiori's carrying all that "camera gear" across the rocks and tips over and laughs hysterically, shouts "CAN'T SEE ANYTHING" at the top, then whips out a whole six pack she planned to share with others at the top. She is my spirit sister.

Tip for hiking, and this goes for anywhere in the world, don't rely on just your phone map. Get an real map to the area, it's much safer

Hi, sorry for the criticism, but can you guys level your audio? At the start of the video, I increased the volume when emma speaks because she's not loud enough, and when shiori speaks it shocked me because how loud it is. The rest of the video is better though

8 out 10 cats in hell prefer when Shiori does a Countdown to the peak! I live in Colorado, home to 58 14ers. (4.26Ks???) I always said that nothing tastes better than an apple at the top and a beer at the bottom. I think Shiori may prove I have it backwards.

It turns out I like the more adventurous places in Japan after all... went to Sado Island last month on holiday, didn't see any Western tourists for like a week, walked half an hour from the goldmine back to the nearest bus station because apparently, the main tourist attraction on the island is served by like 4 buses a day only, and had the greatest time. When the English signage stops I'm kinda in the right place (google translate with the photo translation option is a godsend, though, even when I can read and speak a bit of Japanese - it really pays to get a mobile wifi router). Loved Matsue for pretty much the same reason, although the public transport options are a lot more forgiving.

Pressure could do that (there's a Wikipedia article about superheated water, it's quite interesting). That being said, the Unzen Onsen article says the water temperature is 98 °C.
