OMG I love these girls! This is exactly the kind of music I have wanted to make all my life. I have played the drums in a number of bands over a period of 40 years, and I have had a great time, but THIS is the music I have always wanted to make. Since I discovered TGJ I have been listening constantly. These fine ladies absolutely know the definition of GROOVE!!! I would love it if they would add a smooth jazz guitarist to their ensemble, but, honestly, they don't need one. They are great just as they are.

Out of curiosity, I may have misunderstood what you wrote, and I don't know if you're from the U.S., but after 40 years of drumming in various bands, you've never heard of The Crusaders, Chick Corea, Al Dimeola, Steve Khan, David Sanborn, Tom Scott, Steve Gadd, Stanley Clark, Jaco Pastorius, Larry Coryell, Larry Carlton, Bob James, Lenny White, Herbie Hancock...? the Jazz Fusion list from the early 70's-through the 90's is endless. That's what these ladies are playing and thankfully, doing an exceptional job at keeping the genre alive and well.

@@vajraman2067 I have heard of most of the artists you mentioned, but I haven't felt as invigorated by them as much as these Japanese girls. Al Dimeola was a favorite of my cousin Michael, who played guitar. We used to jam to his music back in the day. Bob James was one of my heroes that we incorporated into the mix. But, for whatever reason, I never felt like I wanted to jump on stage and play along with them as much as I wish I could with these young women.
