Last time that I was there was in the early 2000s. I MIGHT (keyword “might”) be going there next year (if I get vacation time). Anyway, I learned of gashapon, so half of my budget (max) will be spent on gashapon. I don’t care if I need to buy a storage container to hold everything when I get back; I WANT gashapon.

The day they dropped I was hesitant to grab her because I have way too many Eva Gasha-Portraits figures just laying in boxes in my storage room that never get properly displayed.. but when I saw that I could remove the creepy little Shinji doll from her arm, I realized that I could replace it with something more fun... but alas, they are sold out all over Tokyo now 😭

The next two in line are never visible, I tried to get Stitch in a machine that had Stitch, Pooh and Baymax, Stitch was Blue capsule, there was blue capsule visible at the hole (which I assumed would be the one I get, not necessarily on first try), I tried three times and still didn't get it.

Reminds me of Gazeraki, with the demon face on chest...and Gaiking. i was blow all my coins on those!!! back in 1999 i had a friend (USA Army) in Japan, and he would send me cool gashapon, i remember this one line that were very similar to microman, but softer plastic, very articulated, and sort of a fairy them, silver heads, and what bodies with some other color (purple on the one i'm thinking of) and holes in their armor for snap on parts, like swirling wind wings, and etc. That's kinda what those look like. is there a name of those so i can maybe look for them on eBay or something? The SHORTS for your FINGERS...i love collecting stuff like that for my fashion figures. in the USA, Hot Wheels is making skateboards and they come with a pair of shoes...the shoes are too big for Barbie, too small for Ken, but do fit MEGO 8" figures. 21:00 it's the opposite of Microman...it's MACRO-Virus! i wish we had cool stuff in the gashapon at Walmart...but all we have are candy and crap 23:00 do they still like the ORIGINAL Dragon Ball? I love that series, and didn't like Z. Z wasn't funny. 26:00 it'd be funny if you got a blond head of a girl instead of a Bonsai.

Oh definitely. I find the VAG series of gashapon at places like Nakano Broadway, and some of the more touristy locations with large gashapon selections. I actually have a half dozen or so from a few different waves. One of my buddies actually paints sofubi for Konatsu.

I don't like most modern anime. I'm 40 years old and there is just too much stuff that doesnt appeal to me. I do like a lot of anime from the 80's and 90's.. if it weren't for some of them, I wouldn't be here. There are only a handful of modern anime I have enjoyed. Not to say that any of the new stuff is bad, it's just not my thing.

I love these but in a way I'm glad they don't have the variety of them here. I know I'd be tempted to spend all my money trying to win the exact ones I wanted. Too addicting.
