Magneto is right! Xavier just popping up at the end of this for some reason is kind of annoying to me but I guess it would take him a while to get back to earth. Pretty cool that we saw glimpses of Spiderman, Silver Samurai, and Omega Red.

Given the fact he was so far away that God knows how many lightyears Charles was from Earth, it would make sense that he would arrive in the right place but in the wrong time. Also, you were right about what you said of what Magneto should’ve done many episodes ago. Dr. Cooper was among those people who he spared during the attack on his trial, just after Erik actually made a treaty with them by honoring Xavier’s legacy when he became leader of the X-Men. She let him go because she finally understood that even though she has seen with her own eyes of how much good the team has done for them, humanity will never accept them and as a result, they will always resort to violence against those who are different. What surprised me the most is when Roberto’s own mother handed him over to the Human Sentinels when she believed their lies like everyone else. I told someone a while back how treacherous we are, especially towards our own children for this scenario because of how one minute they love you and then the next minute, they despise you for what you are. If I was in his position, I would cut all ties with her; given how she easily listened to those abominations rather than her own child. With all that being said, there’s absolutely no way that Charles could reason with Erik anymore, not after everything that has happened to him and their people in Genosha.

Humans didn't directly cause the Genoshan genocide. It was an evolved AI in Bastion & Mr Sinister. So Magneto isn't technically right. There's still hope for Xavier's dream of peace.

He used the Earths own MAGNETIC FIELD to generate a massive EMP Burst over the entire planet at near the same time. Problem is, anything hit by that is completely fired. From what i understand, in order for ANYTHING to work after that, the wiring needs to be RIPPED OUT and replaced, from every car, train, plane and piece of tech that was ON AND FUNCTIONING at that moment.

So Bastian is Master Mold and Nimrod in the future, those two seninals combined in another time line that walked throug some portal that got reborn into a human un the part. Thats his background in the the comics as simple as anyone can explain since its a lot more complicated.

A. I’m glad Magneto was given more respect for his rage and power than a train whip. B. Though I always acknowledged him, Magneto always had a point, but he wasn’t right. Don’t look at the cyborg monsters, intentional or unintentional, that were created and tell me that’s humanity. That that’s the will of the majority. Just as every Jewish person isn’t to be blamed for the extremist mongers in Gaza. Or how every black person is to be blamed for every African tyrant and dictator. Or how every German is to be blamed for every Natzi. Hotspot’s mom is a bad mother, but she’s right about how we must not let the bad batch spoil the orchard. Because if we do then not only are we all doomed, there’s no meaning to life. I pray that the Professor can help give and show that meaning again. 😔 C. I don’t know. Hank mentioned Kamar-Taj, the place where Dr. Strange and the sorcerers live; from there I recall what the Ancient One said to Stephen when he tried to save Christine’s life many times in What If? That moment was an “Absolute Point” in time: a critical event that is irreversible and therefore, it can’t be altered in any way. Cable himself said that when he explained the incident and everything that happened afterwards to the team after trying that on multiple occasions. Even if you managed to prevent that particular event from happening, something else will take place and history will keep on repeating itself as mankind stick to their hateful ways. I do agree that with this take on the X-Men, we can perfectly understand Erik’s anguish that even Cooper begged him to say something, whether it was pleasant or not. This was the last straw that when he was liberated, he did the one thing that he should’ve done ages ago if it wasn’t for Charles and his team.

Either something is wrong cosmically, like a bug or a small wrench hair or wire clogging up a gear in the machine, or someone (like a *really* big cosmic entity) is purposefully fragging with people and/or places. Because every “absolute point” across every medium is always a needless tragic one. (Yet another reason I don’t buy the illusion and bs of time) B. Dark Strange’s girl/crush was supposedly an “accident” that happened Naturally (so to speak), but this, Genosha, happened because something unnatural happened. An interference from a future to ruin the past. There’s no way that’s naturally destined to happen. It’s like carving and coloring a wood piece to take the place of one of the pieces in a Lego set, but it all comes crumbling down because of it every time, yet still calling that wood piece part of the set when it was never supposed to be there in the first place. It’s one thing if the Lego piece was missing and substituting it was the way to complete the set, but replacing what doesn’t need replacing is tampering, especially if it doesn’t help. Or to put more simply; like painting over the Mona Lisa (the original real Mona Lisa) as a man and calling it the original. C. I don’t count ‘What If’ as canon. Especially since it’s literally contrary to the rest of the MCU and Marvelverse. Case in point Strange’s crush/girl “having to die.”

@@KJetixsSuccessor I don’t consider What If? to be canon either since like you said, they’re completely different from one another. I’m saying that the concept can still be applied to any situation. However the case may be, we can both agree that the damage has been done and unfortunately, even with time travel, there’s no solution for this, not when Magneto declared war against humanity; something that was long overdue but unavoidable because of us.

@@SorenAlba54 True. To give a very brief rundown of my philosophy: I don’t believe in time travel, there’s only the multiverse and it’s infinity. I won’t lecture on *all* the technicalities of how and why but the point is; Unfortunately the sad thing is that whenever a time traveler goes back to prevent something, that doesn’t solve the problem for their home/realm/dimension, only someone else’s. So yes like you said even if/when Genosha was/is stopped it won’t erase the damage of it happening. (That said that doesn’t mean preventing it is useless either. For by creating one reality of something good it will give way for infinite versions of it happening as well, eventually choking out and outnumbering the bad ones (in a VERY abbreviated explanation)) The past can *never* be erased, no matter how deep fools try to burry or forget it. But it can be healed, atoned, exercised (like helping a ghost find peace exercise not eliminated exercise), and corrected by the choices today and forward. For if not, then they will repeat and resurface in old and new skin until all have remembered and learned. I’m glad that we can at least 75% agree, and I can more than live with that 👍🏾 (I’ve had some other roughy discussions where they other guy wouldn’t even accept my proposal to agree to disagree. So this has gone better than most online talk 😅) However if I may disagree with one more thing; I don’t believe Magneto was or is destined to engage in war, but rather rise above its scars and fears. Unfortunately both options are always open to him. And what I despise most about Genosha, is that it took that away from him. 😔 Unfortunately many people can only be asked to be strong for so long without given proof of faith or dream. Despite how real it to is. I just pray the X-Men can save the cyborg-sentinels from themselves and find a cure, and/or Charles can save Magneto’s soul before he unleashes genocide upon those without gun, training, or status. 😔

@@KJetixsSuccessor When it comes to discussing tricky subjects, I tend to be open-minded and understand the other side of the argument because we can either agree or disagree about something. In that case, I’m glad that it brought you some comfort knowing that someone was able to find some common ground. As for Magneto, I have seen this man rise and fall many times before and once he has been freed from his bondage, I assure you that he won’t let himself be captured ever again because of how it takes him back to his younger years of once being a prisoner of war and with all his rage and sadness in his heart, his power is now increased a thousand fold, enough to move the very earth, just like he did it in X-Men Apocalypse when the Earth’s magnetic field was under his control. I look forward to see that here since the movies had only shown a glimpse of his true potential.

IMO, I think they’re going to center a brand new animated MCU with X97, and I’m here for it. I hope we end up getting AvX and house of M in future seasons. I find it really interesting that whether Xavier is alive or dead, the war between mutants and everyone else is inevitable (thanos reference).

They didn't know IF the Professor could be cured, and they didn't know IF he would ever even come back. He mideas-well have been dead. Between Jen, Nathan/Cable and Sinister, Gambit, Genosha, Magneto, these new Sentinels: its VERY easy to say that the X-Men FAILED. And now, the only three questions that matter, are IF Bastion survived that GLOBAL EMP? Will he ever turn the power back ON? And, what will Magneto do NEXT?

Hey Allona "Happy Wednesday" This is a great and intense episode with so much going on. Cyclops seeing Nathan again this time as an adult makes him come off as a failure. The bad blood between Cyclops and Cable. Bastion leaked the news that Charles secret of being alive has been exposed to the world. Roberto mother is hosting a fundraiser for Genosha. So her and the company can look good and take advantage of the news of Charles being alive, hurt the X-Men reputation, and lost trust in the public. This leads to an argument between Jubliee and Roberto mom. Only for her to side with the human Sentinel at the end. After he got exposed as a mutant to the party his mom and shareholders attended. I like the scene with Nightcrawler and Jean as he explains with him letting go of the past and deciding to be a family. Blood is blood. Family is a choice. I like the Summers team up. Magneto continues to be Bastion prisoner. I'm not surprised Val Cooper is working with Bastion since her disappearance in the last episode was suspicious. But you can see regret on her face. While I still agree with those in the KZbin comments that she's Mystique. The Summers made their way through what they thought was a Sentinel facility, only for it be Bastion childhood home. Which is revealed that his mother is living there. As we get his backstory on how he got his powers. We get a cameo of Spider-Man, Doctor Doom and Baron Zemo. Now we know what Operation Zero Tolerance means as we see humans being experimenting on to become human Sentinel against their will. So the world wouldn't be just mutants, and humans won't go into extinction. Bastion mom, Trish, Roberto butler, some human protesters, and so many others are revealed to be a human Sentinels which is insane. Finally Roberto is using his powers. Wolverine and Nightcrawler fighting the human Sentinel was awesome. Especially Nightcrawler going three swords style lol (One Piece fan). As the X-Men are being overwhelmed by the number of Sentinels in which remind me a little of a zombie movie mixed with some Alien Invasion. The Summers teaming up together to battle the Sentinel was pretty badass. Happy that Magneto is free from Bastion prison thanks to Val. I love the "Magneto was right line". And save the X-Men from the human Sentinel. But something tells me that's what Bastion wanted. Because Magneto has to be part of his end goal. Finally Professor X is back the X-Men with his "To me my X-Men" line. I'm looking forward to the following 2 episodes. Sorry for this being long it just do much has happened. lol that had to be the most awkwardest family roadtrip i ever seen. and i'm shocked cable didn't cringe when scott said that line. lol the sentinel just being normal people but then randomly get activated is dark. he really took their humanity away. are they even still alive? because when nightcrawler and wolverine were slicing them up how can they still be alive after that? it's sad because they're still people.
